Oh, that's why I love it too. My family and friends may think I'm a little wierd for liking a show where living plastic manicens attack, or where people get thier face sucked off, but Doctor Who is still amazing!

Ah ha ha ha ha! I know!! That's probably exactly why I love it so much! :P Yay!!
Is the new episode of DW this week? I think so, I was fairly depressed when I found out I'd have to wait an extra week...but it worked out in the end for the best because I was gone on Friday for Thanksgiving...and I wasn't anywhere near a tele, especially one with cable. :P Ha ha ha. Oh well, gives me something to look forward to this week! :)

If you get BBC, they are replaying Doctor Nine episodes on Tuesdays! They're at New Earth. I havn't seen that one, so I'm really excited.

Was there a crimbo episode for the Ninth doctor season?

That is from my other favorite show, Stargate SG-1. (But the main character left, so I've resorted to calling it SG-3/4)
Sorry if I technobabble. Anyway, its a Sci-Fi show. The new bad guys in the show are called the ori. They're bad because they force thier religion onto others. You don't worship the ori? Very well, vaporize the planet and all the unbeliving scum than hang on that scrap of rock! The Ori are sort of wierdish. They don't have a phyisical body like we do. THey exsist on a higher plane of existance as pure energy. They send out priors to spread their religion. The prior catchphrase is "Hallowed are the Ori" The priors are wierd as well. They have super powers (given by the ori) and thier clouded eyes have no pupils. (I think. Maybe they're pupils are just really light...) I guess its a whole lot funnier if you have seen the show. And if you read all this and understood all of my rambings, kudos to you!

EDIT: The ori are a bit concieted and think they are gods. Ori religion in a nutshell: We are gods, worship us or die very painfully.

Yay! Doctor Who is on tonight!

200 was a good ep. I especially like the furling part. I was laughing so hard.....and the puppet part. The look the Teal'c puppet gives the team as they lie in a heap. Hee hee.

32 minutes until Doctor Who.

Lol, Nauriel. I generally twitch a lot and shout and everyone whil I wait for my proggy to start :P
I haven't seen Stargate yet, I shall have to. Have discovered Firefly though, which is pure brilliance.

Yeah, very. I found it a bit awkward, didn't like it as much as Countricide, but I still enjoyed it. (Except for all the sex comments from Gwen and Owen's minds, which was just plain wrong, even though I totally ship their OTP) All the team have kissed someone of the same sex now. Next looks v. interesting, we get Suzie back!

LOL@ Puppet SG-1 brilliance.
I marked hard for the Farscape reference. Man I miss that show :(

Firefly is awesomeness. Jaynestown and Our Mrs Reynolds are about two of the funniest episodes of any show ever.

But *cough* on topic again lol

Torchwood was interesting in certain scenes between Tosh' and Jack. I can't really say too much, as it's spoilery. But it was sort of what I thought would happen. It's little things like that, that make me like Jack I think. That element of not knowing who or what he is now.

LOL@Gwen and Owen...so very awkward lol

And envy@ the girl (from 2.4 children I think she is..)...snogging my Toshiko lol

Off topic again- I've only seen Ariel so far, but I adored it. Shall have to wait for Sunday for next ep. I'm gonna ask Kit of we're allowed to talk about general sci fi on here, its pretty irritating doing the whole of opic thing.
Megh, I hate anti spoiler rules. Any one know how to do those thingys where it comes up black and you have to highlight it to see the spoiler?
Back on topic-
Mmm, those scenes where interesting. Maybe Fudge from Harry Potter has it right "Can you really be alive if you can't die?"
Gwen/ Owen are my favvie pairing, their so sweet together, with all their banter. I love the IM messages on the webbie, they always give me a giggle during my ICT lesson.
The snog was pretty scary for me, the lesbian alien girl looked exactly like one of my friends. I don't get bothered by any of that though, one of my best friends is bi, and whilst her telling me my legs are nice is scary, she's still one of the greatest friends you can ask for :)

Ariel is a great one. Ach, all the episodes are brilliant in there own way.
Ooo a general Sci-Fi option on this club would be awesome. No more off-topicness :P

lol they put character IM messages on the website? Is it the BBC site or the really complicated one set up to look like Torchwoods computer system?
I like Gwen and Owen as a couple. Kinda caught me off guard when it happened though. I had to nip to the loo and when I came back she was in his apartment snoggin him  but it's so cute. She did give her b/f the heave ho then?

Wait! I just have to tell Kess somthing! Then I'll stay on topic, promise!
I'll warn you, it won't be easy to watch stargate. Unless you watch them all in order it will make no sence at all for awhile. It took me a long time to figure out what was happening. If you do like the show, just stick with it. It'll get a lot easier to understand.

ON TOPIC!
I've seen about 1/2 of the ep End of the World and so far it is really good!

EDIT: Check out my banner! Isn't it cute?

I have a friend who is basically obsessed with Firefly. And there's something else...something related to Firefly....don't know what it's called. I give him grief because all he talks about is Firefly and this other thing. But it's evened out because he gives me grief about Dr. Who. :P

The complicated one, you just gotta search around for them really.

I noticed! I tried to watch Stargate Atlantis, but was completley lost by it! Was something to do with a girl in a huge necklace and some big blue circle  But I shall have to remain persistant.

Yes, very! *bannernaps* I've given up on my banner making, I was never any good and can't be bothered anymore. Otherwise the forum would be filled with my DW/ TW fanness!
