Torchwood was so *expletives deleted* good. What a way to end the series. But so frustrating, I don't want it to end nooooooooo. The new series of Dr Who is so far away too.
I'm so glad Battlestar Galactica starts back next week..and on my birthday too. What a nice pressie, thanks Sky One

Rawr indeed. And to add in recently learned vocab; My goodness is he scrummy in those glasses. You're right. Those glasses work for him, they really do.
Also, check out this site. http://www.cafepress.com/buy/Doctor+Who/-/go_1
I would buy most of the stuff if I had the money. I especially like this one: http://images.cafepress.com/product/954 ... _Front.jpg
And I an both intrigued and confused as to what this one means. Was it a quote? http://images.cafepress.com/product/638 ... _Front.jpg *warning* There's a bit of a word on it. If you can't stand reading the word for a man's, well, maness, don't read it at all....If that made any sence at all.

do any of you guys still watch the christopher eccleston series? i'm watching it right now (currently on episode 3) and i think it's far superior to the david tennant series. the doctor and rose have a greater rapport in the eccleston series, and i think the writing's better too - much sharper and funnier, yet at the same time there are moments of greater profundity. anybody else agree?
oh, he just did my favourite line - "don't antagonise her. i love a happy medium" there's nothing quite like a cheesy pun!

I'll be honest, I haven't watched any of the Christopher Eccleston series since the last episode he was in. Not because I don't want too, but I didn't even know they were re-showing it.
I honestly prefer DT as the Doctor, not because I think he's gorgeous. Or that he's a fellow Scot. He just seems to have this air of eccentricity I like about my Doctors. No-one will ever take the place of Tom Baker in my heart of hearts for all time best Doctor.
On a Chris Eccleston side note. I saw a brief clip of him in a Heroes preview and he's rockin the scruffy mentor look. I loves it. I can't wait to see his character in it.

We don't get Torchwood tilll October. However the good thing is, all Jacks mysteries are gonna be explained in the Doctor Who, cos they wouldn't have left some of if unexplained when they thought there was going to be only one series. I've heard so many Jack theories, but none have seemed any good.
@Eowyn- Have to agree with you, I prefer series 9, th plots are better and I like the doctor/companion relationship more. Dunno if I prefer 9 to 10 though, theyr'e both special in their own different ways.
Any suggestions for other banners? We need a Torchwood fan one, but ither than that I'm out of ideas.

Gah I love him in 28 days later. He's such a brilliant actor.
Banner suggestions....a nice Jack one would kick buttocks.
Maybe some Chris Eccleston era Doctor banners?

i haven't seen 28 days later, but he is a brilliant actor - i've seen him in elizabeth, the others and let him have it and he was amazing in all of them. he would have been perfect for the part of ford prefect in hitchhikers's guide to the galaxy - he can do that intense looks-like-he's-going-to-go-for-the-jugular look that the book describes ford as having.
anyhoo, back on topic - a ninth doctor banner would be good. i just made one of him and rose, actually...

Well, I haven't had a chance to watch ANY Doctor Who. Bah! But I remember, when I first got into Doctor Who, Sci Fi had some sort of marathon and most of the ones I watched were with him! I did enjoy him. But I agree with Phoenix, I like DT's eccentricity.
Eowyn, if you hadn't brought up Elizabeth, I wouldn't have remembered that he WAS in it! CRAZY! Ha ha ha! Yay!
