^Mmmm, tis definatley interesting, particularaly since they pick out his accent in the first Eccleston episode, the "lots of planets have a north" line (love that quote :) )

Mental, nerdy nutcase is my type to be honest. And I agree, I'm not the least bit a fangirl by any means, I'm as big as a tomboy as it is possible, but DT is just lovley, personality and looks.

Ahh...I could just stare at your avatar forever :) I LOVE your quote  I think we'd all agree with the last bit. And no matter what you think of him, you have to admit David has the most. awesome. hair. ever.

I wish I could have seen him in Casanova...it looked entertaining. :) Yeah, that quote...when I saw that scene, I nearly died from laughing so hard. Of course, part of that may have had to do witht he fact that I was eating a cookie and nearly choked to death. :P And I agree, his hair is AWESOME. :) :)

It is definately sad that David doesn't get to use his real accent. Something about men from Scotland...*cough* Ha ha ha... I did enjoy it...what was it, Tooth and Claw?, that he got to sort of use his Scottish-ness. :) I laughed much at that....ha ha ha. But very, very sad that he doesn't get to use it regularly. *tear*

Yeah, his particular brand of "mental, nerdy, nutcase" is rather ... appealing. Ha ha ha...obviously. :P

There was a Scottish accented Doctor, Sylvester McCoy. So that makes it even more of a shame they asked him to use an English one.

Mental, nerdy nutcase?
Definetly my type :-D

The Doctor has really grown on me too. I first started watching it when CE was on, and I thought it was alright, so I kept watching it. But after awhile I started loving it. The NInth doctor, like Eowyn I said, isn't particularly good looking (kinda old, big ears) but as the doctor he's so sexy! I want him, and I want him now. It was the same with DT. I liked him in the beginning, but now I think he's the most adorable thing on two legs. I love my mental, nerdy, nutcase.

Part of the reason the Doctors are so lovable is because the actors are just amazing. They blow my mind away. The way they pull of all those emotions while looking natural and slightly touched in the head amazes me.

Heh totally agree :D If you find one that doesn't hate the English, it's all good for me :P I just love accents in general...

^^Ha ha ha! Being American...accents are something I cherish. :P

Anyway, I just popped in to say that I found a little tidbit including the Doctor.

A cast change highlighted another strong performer. David Tennant is good as the Tenth Doctor on Doctor Who, but he lacks the wide-eyed impishness of the previous Doctor, Christopher Eccleston."

Just thought it was interesting. :P

"wide-eyed impishness" a term i'd ever have used to describe CE, but whatever.

I'd have said the opposite, DT has the wide eyed impishness about him. Christopher was much darker I felt.

^ yeah, that's sounds more accurate. i mean, i know CE grinned and joked a lot, but it always felt like this was this whole other, darker, really powerful side to him.

Just thought it was interesting. :P

But he makes up for it by sheer sexiness! And the hair!

I am hurt on David Tennant's behalf :P

Ah ha ha ha ha! Yes, his hair. *thinks about his hair* Mmm...such lovely, wonderous, lustrous locks. *cough* :P I'm getting a bit ... wordy ... about his hair. Yay for being fans of DT's Scottish locks! :)

I will agree, that from what I've seen of CE, he does seem much darker. Whether he was or not...there's just an air about him.

I have to agree. David Tennant has a more care-free attitude all of the time, except when someone doesn't do what he tells them or what they said they would do (like the Sixxorax (sp?) leader in 'The Christmas Invasion' series starter); and while Christopher Eccleston did smile a lot, he also seemed to have a dark side aura around him.

Good news! The person who appeared in the TARDIS isn't going to be the Doctor's new companion. (at least she doesn't look like the girl in the picture I found on http://news.bbc.co.uk/cbbcnews/hi/newsi ... 151306.stm)

 Such a great phrase...there should totally be a 'David Tennat's Scottish Lock Day'. I may draft my friends to celebrate it tomorrow and spend the entire day talking in a bad accent...

Ha ha ha...Scottish locks. Yeah, I think I got it from something Ewan McGregor once said...when they cut off his hair for Star Wars. He said something about Highlander locks being thickest in the world. It was quite amusing. Ha ha ha! :P There should be a day for David's hair! There's probably already a fanbase for his hair...which is odd to be saying, but I still love his hair so it doesn't really bother me. :P
