If Cedric survived the encounter with Voldy, I think he'd rush back, snog Cho and run off and get married.
To our dismay.
Which, I suppose it would be better if he did die.

Really, I definitely like how he looks in the movie better than the pictures we have of him.....
But the picture with him and Rita Skeeter.
