Ginny and Hermoine had gone completely pale and didn't seem to be breathing much. It looked mostly like they were concentrating on not seeing the food they had just eaten.

"I think I'm going to be sick." Ron moaned.

Most everyone at the table looked like they were about to be, with of course a few exceptions.

Tonks was bitting her lip, looking quite worried for unintentionally causing the mess.

"Molly I--" she began.

"Its fine dear, I really should have asked first." Molly said, clutching her hand to her mouth.

Fred and George looked up from their plates.

"I don't see what all the fuss is about,"

"Tastes fine to me,"

"Oh god, I call bathroom!" Harry managed to blurt out and rushed upstairs. Kingsley, Charlie, and Ron followed suit.

"Um, first door on the right!" Tonks yelled and cringed as there was stomping, falling, and groaning.

"Chipper morning, isn't it?" Fred said.

"Loveliest, I've had." George comment.

Molly whacked them both on the head. "I'll be taking these back."

"N-no, Mum!" Fred and George exclaimed.

"No! You two will be eating no more of this! It'll make you both sick to the stomach!" Molly said as she took both of their plates.

"Mum! We've had WORSE." George said.

"MUCH worse." Fred reinforced.

Molly reeled.
"Not under my house you won't!" she said indignantly.

"But mum, this isn't your house." Fred explained.

"It's Tonk's mum." George pointed out.

"And she wouldn't mind if we ate it--" Fred said and looked at Tonks.

"--now would you, Tonks?" George said looking her way also.

"I think I"m going to be sick." was her only reply as she ran to the kitchen with her hands over her mouth.

"That was definately a yes." Fred exclaimed, grabbing for his plate from his mother.

Remus quickly excused himself and went into the kitchen to make sure Tonks was quite all right.

"Y'know Fred, we might have to learn from this. This would sold millions to get out of class." George said munching on some more eggs.

"Jolly great, idea George --- but how on earth would we get it to stop." Fred commented biting a piece of bacon.

"Yes, that might become a problem." George pondered.

"Excuse me?" Molly asked gritting her teeth.

"Nothin' m'um." Fred and George said. Arthur looked out into the living where his train set sat.

Tonks looked up from her spot over the trashcan.

"Are you all right?" Remus asked, genuinely concerned.

"Yeah -- be glad I wasn't intending to use those for breakfast, had I the chance to cook."

"I am." Remus said amused.

"And why aren't you afffected ? You ate some too!" Tonks exclaimed, "And don't tell me it's another one of those werewolf abilities of yours!"

"Okay, I won't." Remus compromised.

"Stupid...refridgerator." Tonks mumbled as she looked into the contents of the trashcan.

"What was that dear?" Remus asked, his hand on her back, trying to comfort her.

"Nothing." Tonks replied straightening.

"I suppose we could make a pill to reverse the efffect--but we'd need to know them first. Ah! Tonks! Just who we wanted to see!" Fred said as she walked through from the dining room to the kitchen with George.

"We were wondering, what do you feel like right now? Any pain anywhere? Just nausea? Any other symptoms?" George asked getting out a small roll of parchment and a quill.

"What? I--no, just nausea." Tonks answered. "And the severe desire to kill my refridgerator."

"Hmm, must be one of the side affects." George pondered.

"Will it always be refrigerators, though, do you think, George." Fred asked.

"I can't imagine so." George wrote on his parchment. "We'll have to do several tests."

"S'pose we can prepare the same bacon and eggs then, George, won't we have to store them somewhere for a year then?" Fred asked, "What about brands?"

"All eggs are the same, Fred." George said.

"Well, certainly not, I mean there are chicken eggs, duck eggs, bird e---." Fred went on.

"Yeah- yeah." George said. "What kind of eggs were those, Tonks?"

"Um...well, I'm...pretty sure they're chicken eggs." Tonks stared blankly.

"And what kind of bacon was it?" George asked.

Tonks was about to say something when she was cut off by Fred, who was looking at George like he was crazy.

"What kind of bacon? There is only one kind of bacon, you git."

"On the contrary, there is pig bacon, and turkey bacon." George said.

"Ah, you are right O brother of mine." Fred said wisely.

"Indeed I am." George replied and then turned back to Tonks and asked again, "What kind of bacon was it?"

"Pig, bacon." She answered, looking like another wave of nausea had just hit her.

"Excellent. I believe we should go ask the others how they feel Fred." George suggested.

Tonks doubled over the trashcan again next to the refrigerator and made very disgusting hurling noises. Remus looked the other way.

Molly waddled into the kitchen worriedly, "Tonks, dear, are you sure you're all right?"

Tonks stuck a hand up in the air and proceeded to hurl more.

"You must admit though, Tonks, you really mustn't've keep outdated food in your refrigerator. What would make you do such a thing?" Molly pestered. Tonks stood up wiping her mouth with a washcloth.

"Well, Molly, I was thinking 'Hey! What if someone broke into my home, and thought they'd get something to eat before they leave --- I mean, surely they'd find that the only thing in my fridge is eggs and bacon, so why not that? That way, I'll know some person out there would be shriveling up on their bed, clutching their stomach and moaning in pain." Tonks said deviously.

"That's a horrible thing to do to a person, dear." Molly said quite horrified.

"Well they did break into my house." Tonks pointed out.

"That makes sense, but I still think it is horrible. And you really should get more food, I don't know how you eat!" Molly exclaimed.

"I eat out, most of the time." Tonk replied sheepishly.

"You have a perfectly good kitchen, with some cleaning it will be good as new. And you can cook--" Molly said.

Remus coughed quite loudly.

"Molly, shouldn't you check how everyone else is fairing from breakfast?" he suggested hopefully.

"Oh, that's a good point. Thank you Remus." Molly said and waddled off towards the stairs.

Tonks looked up at Lupin.

"You did that on purpose." she accused.

"I did no such thing."

Tonks crossed her arms and pouted. And for the first time, Remus noticed that her hair was a pale gray now.

Tonks saw his curious look at her hair and looked in the mirror behind him and noticed that gray strands.

"Yeah, I have trouble morphing when I'm sick." Tonks said breezily.

"It looks like morphing doesn't always come to your advantage." Remus responded.

"I'm never sick, I have a strong immune system." Tonks grabbed all the food in the refrigerator and dumped it in the trash very loudly.

Molly bustled back into the kitchen. "We've must be going now, dears. Not because of this, of course. Well, a bit. I've got some very good oriental herbal medicine at home that I managed to grab in Diagon Ally--"

"Good god! What a beautiful green color you've got there, Ron." It sounded like one of the Weasley twins.

"Well, shall be off now, dearies." Molly concluded.

Tonks nodded and gave a small smile. Remus nodded his head and said 'Have a safe trip, Moll.'

Molly waved her fingers at them and then the Weasleys, Harry, Kermoine and Kinsley piled out the door.

Tonks sank down in a chair and let out a heavy sigh.

"Are you feeling any better?" Remus asked, sitting in the chair next to her.

"A bit." she confessed. "I really should get more food.. for dinner."

"What about lunch?"

"LUNCH?!?! Are you kidding me? I can barely sit without hurling, and you want lunch?" Tonks exclaimed.

"Well I never got to finish breakfast....cause well, you know." he said.

"Urge."

Remus zipped his mouth.

"You can eat out." Tonks finalized.

"Do you--"

"No."

"Right."

Tonks heaved a sigh and urged herself not to think of any food. "A bloody great Christmas, this has been."

"It's one of the better ones that I've had." Remus said happily. Tonks looked over to him and smiled.

"I'm glad."

Yeah, that was short and cheesy and pathetic, but live with it, I'm starving.
