How sad........ The horse and donkey are doing very well, and last time my friends and I went over there, the donkey started braying his head off! Of course the horse couldn't be out done, so he started neighing really loudly. Totaly cute!

Arwen Arianna, you live in Germany! I live in the United States. That's cool though. I would do anything to vacation in Germany, and even more to go horse trekking in Germany...
Anyway, welcome Aglar Aduial! It's always great to meet more horse lovers!
And about that horse I really like, Chimera. I rode her again a few days ago and well... I luv her even more now! I just rode her at the walk and trot, no canter (though I can't wait to ride her at that gait). She's so smooth! But fast. Really REALLY fast.
And also, I'm going on vacation for a while and won't be back until the 19th. But I'll try to get on once or twice using my grandpa's computer. Even though his internet connection is insanely slow...

Hi please can I join?
I LOVE horses! I've been riding for two years now and I recently got my first pony called Blaze. He is a New Forest pony and he's really sweet but kind of lazy.
here is a picture of him:
I went on a ride with him the other day and he rolled in a puddle while I was still on him! I got a tad bit wet...

Yes I live in England, it's great here! At the moment our field is like a mud pit because it's been raining a lot recently, and Blaze has started losing all of his winter coat so I'm always covered in hair after I've been riding! I can't wait till summer...

Yeah, when horses start to shed it's soooo anoying!
My friends have a neighbor who has a horse and donkey, and we go over there to brush them as often as we can and when we're done we look like minni horses ourselves 'cause we have so much hair on us!
Anyway, I know how the mud thing goes, 'cause it's pretty muddy here in Wisconsin too, but it's finally starting to dry up!

I was talking to my mum and her friend last night and they said something about me doing some Hunter trials at the end of the summer, but I haven't even done any jumping yet! I don't know if I'd be good enough by then, but we'll see.

Wow, jumping! That's amazing! I don't know if I could stay on a horse while it jumped. I'd probably fall off it!:)
I was wondering Elanor, if there's anything that is associated with horses that can make a person react? (like, with itchy skin and little red bumps.) I was over at my friends house the other day and we went over to see Cody and Pete, and when we were brushing them, my arms started reacting really badly! It was the strangest thing that's ever happened to me in my life! I hope I'm not alergic to horses , but I can't think of anything that would do that to me..............really weird!

My friend is alergic to horses. I invited her to go horse riding for my birthday but she couldnt, so we had to leave her behind and I felt really bad. I don't know much about alergies associated with horses though.
I went jumping for the first time on my new pony today. I fell off... twice.
The first time wasn't really my fault because he started getting silly and bucked me off. The second time was entirely my fault because he jumped and I wasn't expecting it so I went right over his neck.
I don't think my pony quite gets the idea of jumping; he trots up to the pole, looks at it for a second, then ploughs straight through it. That's why it took me by suprise when he actually jumped it.
I think I might book some private jumping lessons so I can learn to do it properly! lol

Yeah, jumping lessons might be a good idea! But good for you for at least trying! I'm so sad, because Dad is going down to Chicago, Illinois, and he has to take the compy with him so I probably won't be on here for 2 weeks!
See Ya Later!

ahh well, see ya whenever!
Yes, jumping lessons is a VERY good idea, but an even better one is getting a general purpose saddle seen as the one I've already got is a dressage saddle, which isn't much good for jumping! lol

Very true! Lol! Dad isn't going to Chicago yet untill maybe Sunday or Monday, so I still have my beloved compy! Also, we're trying to get another compy hooked up to the internet, so I might still have the internet when dads gone! Yeay! How is Blaze doing?

He's just fine, but a little tired! When I left him in the field he was flat on the floor sleeping! lol
