It's a pretty good banner for being one of the first ones you made, FM.

On a rating of 1-10, I give it an 8. It was pretty inaccurate, but the action and music keeps the inaccuracy from dropping the score too far.

I'd give it a 9 1/2... the only thing I didn't like much was some of the inaccuracies...

Did any of you watch the second disc on DVD? It was INCREDIBLE! Y'all should watch it. All about the REAL crusades.

Yeah, I watched it. It was okay. Not nearly as cool as the Appendices for LotR, though.



A 10 would be a perfect score. A 6.5-7 would be an average movie. A 9 is what I give to LotR and Gladiator. An 8 is what I give to Kingdom of Heaven, because that had a lot of innacuracies. According to eyewitness accounts, Balian was actually a cruel person, and he did go to battle at the Horns of Hattin, and was taken prisoner. Saladin gave him permission to return to Jerusalem to see his family off to safety (he had Balian's word that he would return), but then Balian, being the highest-ranking person, stayed and led Jerusalem in defence against Saladin.

And Saladin didn't actually let everyone go free--they had to pay ransom, and those who couldn't afford it were sold into slavery.

I'm not listening soley to that soundtrack right now, but it's on my playlist along with PotC II: Dead Man's Chest, The Passion of the Christ, The Pianist, Memoirs of a Geisha, Master And Commander: The Far Side of the World, and some songs from Vivaldi and Chopin, along with the theme from Schindler's List (Which is a really cool song, just fyi).

But DMC and Kingdom of Heaven play the most frequently (it's on shuffle).

I was watching it on HBO the other day and my mom walks in and says 'Is the Kingdom of Heaven? I love that movie!' I didn't even know my mom had watched it. And she's not a big fan of Orlando, she's convinced he can't act. I started laughing.

Lol, Tar. Honestly, I think Orlando is a fairly good actor, it's just that girls either like him or hate him, so the guys seem naturally prejudiced against him, and so on and so forth. His popularity is his biggest fault.

But he did really well in Kingdom of Heaven.

I've only seen him in PotC (CotBP and DMC), LotR, Black Hawk Down, and Kingdom of Heaven. He did pretty well in all of them (his lines in LotR stunk, but his acting was good).
