LOL A very good question indeed!
Hmmm, I've never heard of that TV show --- does it air in the U.S.?

Aint there some movie named Foyle`s War or what was it again? Some liutenant who got captured(I think the movie was stupid since everyone of the american prisoners saluted after the german commander had shot an american captain.. and some other facts.. but seriously who would have done that actually?)
Anyway... at least I am happy that there are some good movies & series like Band Of Brothers and Unknown Soldier(a finnish movie)

Wow I like history, can I join??
I'm more interested in the Tudors (16th Century England) than more modern stuff, but WWII is interesting to study. I never knew all that stuff about Finland, and I don't really know much about Stalin or Mussolini or that Japanese guy (we just learnt about Hitler killing all the Jews), so could someone please help me understand it?

Ah... welcome! btw I just watched Der Untergong(a great movie) and for those who don`t know what it is... it tells about the fall of the nazi Germany and Hitler`s last days in his bunker... It`s good that they have made him like a human and not a monster all tough he is nuts troughout the movie since he has these things...
The movie is based on the tale of Hitlers secritary whom got awaty from Berlin and die in 2002...
now back to you Dok (Daughterofkings )
yes... well Hirohito himself didn`t lead the war or the orders, but he actually let them pass and agreed to them... the kamikaze and so on... mad to shoot a torpedo with a man inside it to control it... well that solved nothing and was empty...
Mussolini was nothing and Italy wasn`t much of a great power as much as Mussolini would have wanted... Mussolini was hanged on a gas station by partisans...
Stalin was at the same level with Hitler, in his paranoia(as I earlier said) killed millions and most of all he wiped out all of his high ranking officers(stupid leading? YES!) and there was the thing that no russian soldier would back down from a battle when they fough the germans and were losing.. otherwise there were politruks and men ready to shoot the cowards... (waste of soldiers? yeah..)
Funny thing about the russians that they might get drunk and attack the enemy, there was no sense in their attacking they just ran towards the enemy while the enemy were dug into the ground shooting them...

i heard somewhere earlier about a two front war with france, first of all, to correct you i will say france was long turned into a dependency of the reich(vichy france)
and that the two front war only included a severely weakened france when it was freed from the vichy government

I'm not sure if Foyle's War is shown in the US - it should be as it's really good. I don't know if there is a movie called Foyle's War but the TV programme is nothing like that. It's about British people.
Is it me or are lots of the Nazgul club invading?!

Well, I'm really not sure --- actually, I'm almost positive that I don't have a grandfather in WWII, but my Dad did fight in the Vietnam War, but that's about it.
Why, Curunir? did yours?
