Yes that will be very interesting. I hope they don't show Robin until very later in the movie. Did you know that Viggo Mortanesen was offered the part for Ra's al Ghul? When I was reading that I was shaking my head, saying no, that role has Liam Neeson's name on it. And also Cillian Murphy tried out for Batman but since Christian Bale got the part, Chris Nolan convinced Murphy to become Scarecrow. They better not change the Joker like they did with the original

ARWEN! The great webmistress! OF COURSE you can join! *quickly runs off to add your name*
The comics are quite good. I need to flip through them again since I haven't done that in AGES. Ha ha ha....Jack Nicholson...wow. What a crazy man. And who could forget George Clooney? Wow. Michael Keaton is my man. Ha ha ha...though Christian rules them all.
Oh by the way Arwen, I LOVE the bottom banner of yours. I actually happened to watch that movie earlier this evening. Wonderul movie! I love that puppy!!!

Oh man!! That's insane!! Yeah, as much as I love Viggo, Liam is Ra's. Ha ha ha. That's just crazy. And Cillian as Batman? *shakes head* Psssh...much better as a creepy Scarecrow.
So very excited for Heath's performance. That should be interesting to see him as villian.

Batman rocks, even though I've never actually read the comics (I just read up on everything online), so I definately want to join.

*runs off to add your name to the ever-growing list * YAY!! More members! Exciting!
The comics ARE worth checking out. But reading everything online is a good idea since I haven't read the comics in a VERY long time....

What?!?!? Scarecrow more than BATMAN!?!? Wow....
Batman's my favorite, definately. Robin drives me crazy, to be honest...he takes the spotlight away from Batman. Does anyone here like Robin?

Nahh I love Batman doing his job alone. I wonder if they put Scarecrow into the second movie along with the Joker??

Mmm...they might. That could get interesting. I mean, I think they'll include all of that stuff...but the Joker will most definately be the most prominent in the story line. Bah, I just saw Christian Bale on TRL talking about the second Batman...(just a news clip) saying it's going to be way better than the first. Those weren't his exact words.... If it's anywhere NEAR as good as the first, I'll have a heart attack and die. Ha ha ha...But man, I can't wait until June 2008. BAH!

By the way, I just noticed this. In the scene where Rachel Dawes is comforting the kid, this is before Scarecrow rides and she asks, "Crane?" and he replies, "No, Scarecrow." At that scene you hear a series of roars. Those roars are the Cave Troll roars in Fellowship of the Ring. Kind of interesting. Also Liam Neeson used to be a youth boxing champion.

NO way. That's too crazy! Ah ha ha ha ha. That's ridiculous. LOTR freakin' ROCKS! Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.... That's too cool. How'd you figure that out?
A youth boxing champion? Crazy...that man is way too cool.

By watching the chapter: Balin's Tomb at least a hundred times and watching the Narrows scene at least fifty times.

Lol, Caunion. It's been a few weeks since I watched Batman Begins, and even longer since I watched FotR, so I'll have to go watch them again soon. Honestly, I think I've got the Cave Troll's roar memorized, so I think I'll be fine with just watching Batman Begins.

Bump?
Wow. How is this thread so un-posted-in now that The Dark Knight has come out? Amazing.
TDK was incredible. It's on par with Batman Begins, at the very least.
