Did anyone see the what happened at the very end of the final episode? My recording stopped just after it said 'Volume Two' on the grassy field.

I'm glad Nathan turned out to be a good guy in the end, I reather like him. The ending was quite sad, though. And Sylar escaped!

erm... This also contains slight spoilers!

Okay, what happened was that Hir was shown falling into the field, and theres a small group of like... 20 or so samuri guys there, aiming arrows in his direction(wearing red scarves and such). Then, on the other side of Hiro, rides up a lone rider, with a white flag with the Heroes mark thing(the squiggly line on Hiro's sword). And I think that it's the original owner of said sword. Then, they show a shadow covering everything. They pan upward to show an eclipse.


Just like the O in the picture above, or the Heroes logo!

My oppinion, is that the eclipse is what started it all... 'cause with Nicki/Jessica... when the bad one takes over, there's always that squigly line thing on her shoulder blade!

I agree, thats probably what started the mutations/evolution of the human genome to the point where people could acess their abilities, seeing as the eclipse is part of the logo and the opening of the thingy right in the begining (not sure of the name, but I think you should know what I mean).

I had a slight heart attack when Sylar got stabbed. Well, more than a slight heart attack. I yelled "NOOOOOOO" at the top of my lungs, and woke up my mom. Oops. But then I remembered that he'd already signed on for the second season, so, he has to live on.

^LOL! It does kind of ruin the suspense when you know things like that.

Okay, questions: Is Nathan actually dead? And what about Peter? Without Nathan flying around, is he just going to fall to earth and therefore will he die, or has he absorbed enough of Claire or Nathan's powers to be okay? (I doubt he'll die.)

Peter was one of the main characters. So, yes, he should live.

My oppinion with Peter:
Not only do I think he will survive because he has Claire's and/or Nathan's powers, but also because of what they showed when Hiro went to the futur.
"I exploded New York, and you know it," was his reply to Nicki... So I know it was Peter who exploded New York. I also think that because they show Sylar had taken Nathan's form(most likely got that one girl, and the black dude). And he didn't have Claire's so he couldn't have survived if he had exploded.
And since that happened in the futur, and Peter survived the explosion, then I of course think that he will survive the explosion in the sky.

I'ms sure since Parkman was one of the main characters, and one of the first original nine heroes, they won't kill him! Though they didn't kill Isaac who was one of the original nine heroes in the beginning... I have no idea...

Oo haven't posted here in a while.

Peter I think will survive. He has Claires regeneration powers, so I can't think of any reason for him not to survive. She already survived Ted's explosion at her house. Peter would survive his own.

Nathan..I don't think he'll survive. Not unless he let go and flew off very, very quickly. He can fly at supersonic speed. Would it be enough time for him to escape the blast? Who knows..

Parkman MUST survive. Simply because I love Greg Grunberg and well..that's about it lol

XD@ Hiro travelling to Kenzo's time. Very fitting..and that eclipse. Arrrrrrghhh September can't come quick enough. I'm slowly going insane without my weekly dose of Heroes.
