The reason that the Stone Men were ugly was because humanity just evolved
People from the Tudor time weren't necessarily uglier then the people in the Modern era. Sure - we tend to be taller, healthier & more intellegant then the people of the past but behind the dirt, their average looks were similar to ours.

You deliberately picked the worst person to make your comparison, making it invalid. And even if someone DID find someone like Henry VIII attractive, who are YOU to say that they're wrong. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Just because you think someone is attractive, doesn't mean I or anyone else will. Regardless of time period.
Beauty is subjective.
For example..I happen to think the guy in your sig isn't attractive. You however do. Neither of us is right or wrong, it's simply an opinion. Which is what it all boils down to.
