Thanks girls for letting me in this club. I am glad that I am the first male joined. I felt kinda special

My name will be kept secret not that I do not wanna say it but so hard to pronounce so I do not want you to suffer. I am studying at university the Business Administration. I am sophomore in there but it is my third year at the university. Me as I said is 19 years old. Living in Istanbul, Turkey. I know English obviously anda little bit German even though I forgot so much about it. Now I am learning Italian. I can say I am able to talk by the end of this semester. My hobbies are footvall or soccer whatever you call, basketball, bowling, writing and reading fantasy novel but I could not read any from the beginning of this September.

I do not have so much to talk about myself but I think I like being with people, mainly girls however I am not lucky to find a hot date nowadays which made me pretty nervous.

And my only wish is to become a theathre or a movie script writer and live in Canada.

So this is me. Any questions?? *pour some water on everyone to awaken*

I just found out yesterday that I was accepted to my top college choice Biola University. It's a private Christian college in Southern California. I'll be going there next fall and I'll be studying Psychology.

Well, as I mentioned before I'll finish school this May and then I wish to study Law at a university. Many friends told be that it would be a pretty dry topic to study, but the whole stuff fascinates me in a way and being a lawyer, a public prosecutor or a judge would be my absolute dream job!

Welcome Linwe and congratulations on getting accepted at the college you wished to go to! That's great!

Rose, did you apply for university yet or do you have anything else in mind? I wanted to become a defence attorney when I was a kid. I liked the idea that everyone is not guilty until otherwise proved! I still like the idea, but this is not the way I want to go.

@Eä: I haven't applied yet, because for the application I need my A-level grades and my final examinations will take place between the end of March and the end of May. I have to send in my applications until 15 June. But I definitely want to study Law at a certain university where you can have some kind of bilingual study. What do you study/ wish to study? Or do you already have a job?

What bilingual studies would you choose?
I'm studying International Development at the moment and my second major will be Communication. I have an exam on Tuesday and I should really not be here, but I'm so sick and tired of studying for it now, I just want it to be over...
But after the final I will have a break for two weeks, what an award to be looking forward to

I can perfectly understand that you're sick of learning sometimes [I should practice for maths right now as well ]

As I'm German, I will choose the German/English studies. I think it will be much work, of course, but I 'm used to bilingual classes, as I'm also at a bilingual school right now, where they teach you History, Geography and Social Sciences in English.
In November all the students from grade 13 could spend a day at the university I wish to go to and when I attended an English lecture for the first semester law students, I could understand almost everything the professor told them apart from a few technical terms, so I don't worry that much about the bilinguality.
In fact, I really look forward to studying, because I'll also have to spend some time abroad then, studying and working in an English- speaking country.


EDIT: @ Captain Faramir: Why do you think English will be a problem for you? I think your English is fine!

Yeah particularly because my big brother was born in Canada so he has a chance to renew his passport and I hope to use for my benefit also. Yes, I wanna go to Canada but you know the language English will be a real problem when I get there.

Congratulations on getting accepted! That's so awesome!

Well, my university has been on a 5 week winter break. We go back th e 22nd. Ugh...lately I've been feeling like I don't want to go back...bah! I just have no desire to for some reason. Maybe it's because last semester was SO terrible. Ugh...and maybe it has something to do with me not being able to take any classes for my major (which is Political Science). And I've also been having doubts about my major....well....ha ha ha....I've just been thinking, because everyone has been saying this...that Politial Sciene isn't much of a major unless I want to be a lawyer or a teacher. So, I'm thinking...maybe take some Psychology and Archeology classes. Just in case things don't work out. Ha ha ha..*sigh*

Rose, you need not worry about the language, it seems you speak perfect English. And besides many of the text books on your study, would probably be in English anyway, so it might be easier not having to translate terms and theories!

MontanaBohemian, I'm having the same doubts.. I'm not sure about this study... but my next semester will most likely show whether this is the way I'm going to save the world, lol
