she was indeed forgiven. I mean, theoden only said "I know your face"  no angry faces there. well, he was dying, so I guess it's natural.
btw, I love the fact that he says it twice. it kinda shows how much he loves her.

I think Grima would have worshipped her. Bt then I also think she was more of an object to him, something to show off, should he win her over. I'm glad he didn't.

Of course, I believe, we all are glad that he didn't win over her in the end. I don't know what would have happened, if Éowyn wouldn't have stayed strong and unbreakable in the years he poisened Theoden. What would have happened, if she failed?

I first think of a picture: I see Éowyn in her white dress, standing infront of Meduseld, a sharp wind is blowing. Then I think of all her grieve and pain she had been though and she couldn't do anything against it.
When you mean, what comes to my mind about her character, it would be: Loyal, Inaccessible, Kind and vulnerable.
