You guys had to bring up ants. Our house is currently being invaded by them. I'm terrified of them because they're so small you can never be sure exactly where they're hiding. They've even chased me out of my room! I refuse to sleep in there even with two ant traps. There are two ant traps in the living room also, and yet they keep showing up! Can anyone offer a reason why or will I have to cower in fear for the rest of my life?!

Well there are many reasons why they could be invading your room. I can give a few reasons
1) Food: There could possibly be food hidden in your room, or they may be looking for some. Terro, some type of solution, is what my mom uses when she has smaller ants, it kills them
2) It may just be that time of year
3) Try finding cracks in your house, that way you can stop them from coming in.

when we were in Nova Scotia for a vacay, we stayed at this bed and breakfast, and they were being invaded by ants, and they didnt know where all the ants were coming from, and me being about 4 or 5 went on an ant hunt, and i eventually found where they were coming in, so the people that ran the place gave me ice cream and free breakfast.
I have spiders too Amony, and their so cute! I caught one about the size of a regular white eraser a few days ago, my dog loves poking them with her nose.

Yeah i hate ants, but its fun to burn them, and they taste good...no honestly they do.
