Would they really start the season so shortly after it started on BBC?
Not that I'm complaining, mind you, but that doesn't seem right.
GAH, I can't wait for it to start here. But I still need to watch Voyage of the Damned on youtube. I still haven't seen it.

No, I think it's true. I've read on a few sites now that SciFi is getting Season 4 and the Sarah Jane Adventures as well. Too bad they're not getting Torchwood too, because that would be a muchly lot of made-of-awesome TV.

YAY. That means that there's less than a month until new Dr series... What do I do with myself until then?
But I can't bring myself to watch the Sarah Jane adventures. I didn't like her in the one episode, let alone her own series.

Voyage of the D*mned: http://www.56.com/u62/v_MjYyMjg3MTU.html
or find links for 3 parts to it http://www.surfthechannel.com/
(For some reason when I preview this, the surf the channel link isn't working. But the site is still active, just search for Doctor Who on there, VOTD is on there in 3 parts)

*quivers* I'm speechless. I litereally gasped when I saw Rose. I wonder how they're going to work that into the plot line.
April 14? Wow.......I'm estatic. I can't belive we're actually getting the series that early. Yay!

^Well, from what I hear from some friends of mine who have been looking into it (they're even more obsessed than me, believe it or not), and apparently Rose and the Doctor don't ever see each other in the episodes where she appears. Laaaaaaame.
And really, if whats-her-face (whatever the name of Catherine Tate's character is) hits on the Doctor so blatantly as she did in the trailer, I'm going to scream. And if the Doctor shows any interest, I'm going to do more than that.
I'm a HUGE Doctor/Rose shipper, if you guys didn't know. I'm still hoping they find a way to bring her back. Even though the odds of that are...zero, I can still hope, right?

^ if they can keep bringing the daleks back after announcing their complete and final destruction, they can get rose and the doctor back together. anything is possible in the world of doctor who.
april 14 seems mighty close. i'm still very very unsure about donna though. i'm not a particular fan of catherine tate anyway, but i thought she was awful in the runaway bride. ah well, i will go into it with an open mind and hope she's not as bad as i fear.

... In my opinion, Rose should stay in her parallel universe and move on with her life.
Not a Doctor/Rose shipper. Rose ticks me off. I think it's because she acts like the Universe is there for her amusement, and if a few people get hurt or die, it doesn't really matter because she's with the Doctor. I guess I don't see what makes her so special.
I could go on and on about that, but I won't. Because you guys are happy Doctor/Rose shippers, and I don't want to rain on your parade.
Donna fails, though. I just watched the Christmas special again, because my sister wanted to, and it's horrible-ness is almost depressing. No, it IS depressing.
Speaking of companions, someone said that after they watched the 'Meat' episode of Torchwood, they decided that Rhys would make a good companion for the Doctor. You know, I can see that. xD

Well, you've got to at least admit that Rose was better than *shudder* Martha. She was ridiculous.
And I could rant on and on about Martha vs. Rose, but I'll leave that alone too. Ugh.
You know what it took me until I was rewatching the second season of Dr Who to realize? Torchwood is an anagram of Doctor Who. Duh.
Anyway, Donna/Catherine Tate fails at life. You know what? I really liked Astrid/Kylie Minogue. I would have been perfectly happy with her being his companion (though while watching that kiss, I was totally ranting about BLONDES. I have never sympathized with Martha more than when she said "Oh, she was blonde! Of course.").

Aww, Martha's not the bad one in Series 3. That would be Doctor, because he's moping over Rose.
From the first twenty minutes of Voyage of the ****ed that I watched, Astrid's not so bad. But she's dead, isn't she? ...Minor setback.
... On the subject of blondes... We don't see any blondes in Torchwood, now, do we? Blondes get all the attention. And sometimes that's why I think people like Rose, because she's blonde. (Not saying everyone, but there are some people out there and you can tell the reason they like her is because she's a blonde.)

You know, Captain John Hart mentioned that fact in the first episode. He said, "You've got a team, how sweet! Oh, pretty little friends. No blondes, though. You need a blonde." Personally I liked Rose a bit better in Doctor Who because she was like your normal everyday person. She doesn't have any fancy credentials, just herself. Martha was, I think, better in Torchwood than in Doctor Who. But that's just my honest opinion. And I seriously doubt it's going to affect anything so why bother quarreling.

Yeah, no point in debating really.
But I really did love the line in... Utopia when Martha and Jack are talking, and Martha goes...
"Is that what happens then? One day you get tired of us and leave us behind?"
"Not if you're blonde."
"Oh, so she was blonde! Of course!"
Phh, the Doctor always falls for a blonde. And it makes me sad. But the funny thing is that I was completely apathetic about Rose until the end of season 2, and then I was like... "wait, hold up, I just realized I really liked her!" So yeah. Not cool.

Actually, I didn't mind Rose with Ninth Doctor. But I didn't really like that season very much, so I think if that season had been a bit less weak, I would have liked her more.
And I agree, Martha was better in Torchwood. Which is completely opposite of what I had predicted. xD
