Well, the competition is split among age groups and then the winner of each age group is given $500. Then those winners are compared and the Grand Prize winner receives the $1000 dollars.
My mom is entering my Elizabethian dress. I am sure there will be a lot of Pirates this year! lol!

I could have sworn there was someone who was making the dress, WD is making an Elizabethian one, so they're quite similar.

*Is a little confused* I actually meant her pirate costume from DMC, not one of her dresses, none of which I really like.
And no, I don't actually sew hardly at all, so I don't think I'll join - but this was the only place I could think of to ask for some tips!

mrs.gamgee and i are finally gong to continue our lovely dresses! though we bought the wrong fabic, grrr!!!(at least we only bought fabric for the skirt!!)
