@JF: Thanks for posting the list. I checked it quite a while ago, but I had already forgotten that Phoenix is the oldest member. 
Wow, this thread is growing quite fast now with more members. 
Well, the first thing I've done when I turned 18 was fetching my driver's licence and driving around in my car. My parents gave me one as a birthday present. And two weeks or so after my birthday the general elections took place in my country, so I could go voting as well.
OMG, time really flies. I'm already turning 20 this September...

Welcome eowyn of ithilien  There seems to be lots more of us old folks around than we previously thought 
I think the first 18 film I saw was From Hell and I would have been about 16 or 17 when I saw it. I have to admit that the main reason I watched it was because Johnny Depp was in it  I can't think of that many more 18s that I've seen - I try to avoid horror films and excessivly violent films. _________________

thanks for the welcomes, guys.
the first 18 film i saw was the general's daughter, which i watched with my dad when i was about 13 (it was on tv so neither of us knew it was an 18). the first 18 i knowingly watched was gangs of new york, which i watched the other night. they're the ony 18s i've ever seen.
other than watching those films, i haven't done anything being 18 has allowed me to do - i don't drink and i haven't had chance to vote yet as there have been no elections since my 18th birthday. i haven't done anything turning 16 or 17 allowed me to do either - i've never smoked or played the lottery, i'm still a virgin, and i don't drive. i guess i'm still 15 really. coinicidentally, that's how old everyone thinks i am.

Oi! The lottery! I forgot I could do that!
Actually, I've only ever done it once, and that was for my mom. She was on vacation in Hawaii and heard that the Jackpot was some ridiculous amount of money and had me go out and buy her some (with all her numbers) but I took the liberty of buying some of my own.
Guess which numbers I used?

As for films for us...elders...I've watched them since I was pretty young. Not on a regular basis...but yeah. Nothing new for me there.

I can't remember the name of the first 18 movie I saw. It was way too ago for me to remember, hence the fact I was only 12. XD I was also watching Tales From The Crypt at 12. I use to love but show but not anymore. _________________ And as he looked into her eyes

I think it's rather the equivalent of NC 17. It's the highest film rating in the UK anyway that not many films get.

Not many films get that in the States get that either. Rated R is generally the highest rating. NC-17 around here is normally for the naughty and perverted stuff.
