This is an example of Old english:

HWÆT, WE GAR-DEna in geardagum,
þeodcyninga þrym gefrunon,
hu ða æþelingas ellen fremedon!

and this is Middle english:

Ful wel she sange the service devine,
Entuned in hire nose ful swetely;
And Frenche she spake ful fayre and fetisly,
After the scole of Stratford atte bowe,
For Frenche of Paris was to hire unknowe.

I'm takeing Middle English as a subject currently.

There is no need to apologize. One thing about me is that I generally dont mince words. Some see me a bit blunt and I am just telling it as it is.I am sorry for making u feel uncomfortable and I didnt mean to, but I was just being Honest.
Rohirric is very similar to Old English Lailathnindil, I only included Khuzdul as an example and thanx for bringing it to th ethreads attention lol. Much Appreciated Mellon.

To me the spelling and grammar looks sound. Also It seems to me to be a piece of middle english writing translated into Old English. The subject is unusual for old English lol.

What is the difference between normal English and Old? Doesn't old just have a different accent or something?
