lol azriel. i say everything's funny, even when it's not. "funny" could mean ironic, weird, cute, odd, painful, awful, fun, lovable, etc. really, i could mean anything.

I bet he's gonna come up with a whole new list of awesome quotes in the second movie...I really hope they get new music so its not like they use the same music in all of the movies.

Take what you can! (Next person is supposed to say the rest of it hint hint)

Me too!

By the way, its give nothing back. ;)

:vampire:

I like this quote also:

"Well then, I confess. It is my intention to commandeer one of these ships, pick up a crew in tortuga, raze(?), pillage, and otherwise (something) my weasley black guts out."

I am trying to memorize that....

The whole line is:

"Well, then, I confess, it is my intention to commandeer one of these ships, pick up a crew in Tortuga, raid, pillage, plunder and otherwise pilfer my weasely black guts out."

I love that quote :)

I'm going to have to read that ten thousand times...I have to remember!

I also like the one where he is talking to Mr. Gibbs:

"Fortunately, I know how to counter it. The man who did the waking buys the man who was sleeping a drink. The man who was sleeping therefore is a proposition to the man who did the waking."

Or something like that.

I just corrected this quote for you on the other topic, but as this is my club (and dedicated to Jack quotes), I feel compelled to do so here as well:
(to keep track of this, it helps to remember that Gibbs was sleeping and Jack woke him up, and to include the line before.)
"You know it's bad luck to wake a man when he's sleeping."
"Fortunately I know how to counter it: The man who did the waking buys the man who was sleeping a drink. The man who was sleeping drinks it while listening to a proposition from the man who did the waking."

Btw- if anyone ever needs help with any of those long tricky quotes, feel free to ask me. I'm one of those weird people who can't stand not knowing exactly what someone's saying, and will sit playing a line over and over with subtitles until I get it exactly right. This is generally follwed by me saying it over and over to myself in front of a mirror to make sure I have proper accent, facial expression, gesticulations, and whatever other flare is necessary to be as close to the original as possible. (Can you say OCD?) Anyway, long story short, if there's ever a line in doubt, there's a fairly good chance I'll know it. (except when i'm mentally exhausted and put "give nothing back", as keyodie so humbly pointed out :duh: ). Wow...I'm hyper :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :pirate:

Many thanks!

Oh, and I also can't wait for the sequel! Does anyone know if they're planning on making a third? I wouldn't watch it unless Jack Sparrow was in it! I could do without Keira Knightly, though... But hey, that's just me. lol
