I used to draw a lot, but my comics aren't of the best quality... nowadays I can't seem to find the time to sit down and draw

Yeah I'm curious about that to, but this is an anime club bowgirl...anyway, I have a question for you all:
What is your favorite Study Ghibli movie and why?
I have several:
1.) Whisper of the Heart
2.) Only Yesterday
3.) Pom Poko
4.) My Neighbor Totoro
5.) Nasicaa of the Valley of The Wind
6.) Spirited Away
7.) Castle in the Sky

My favorite has to be Howl's Moving Castle, a close second Princesss Mononoke and Spirited Away being third.
Howl's Moving Castle is just so touching and it has the even sense of humor to it and the music is just GORGEOUS.

I've heard of Whisper of the Heart, and my friend Aru-chan wants me to see it and I'm trying to get the chance.
Howl's Moving Castle is interesting in its similarity to the Wizard of Oz but with deeper and more complicated lessons...
Sophie = Dorothy
Howl = The Wizard of Oz
Calcifer = The Corwardly Lion
Turnip Head = The Scarecrow
Howl's Moving Castle = Tin Man
Lady Sulliman = Glinda, Witch of the North
Witch of the Waste = Evil Witch of the West
It's really thought-provoking!
And I was impressed when I found out that Howl's dubbed voice was done by Christian Bale. VERY impressed

Well, you don't generally don't have to be an anime-fan to want to see a Miyazaki film.
