I only know hard Rock Hallelujah and Mr. Killjoy... and I only heard them once (not at the Eurovision Song Contest though... I didn't watch it)
I think Lordi are okay, but there are better bands... do you guys know Static-X, Lamb of God or Demons&Wizards?
Daaaaamn, I'm just listening to "Crimson King" by D&W... that song... just rocks!

Terror Train is really cool, especially the video ...maybe I should read The Dark Tower III...otherwise the lyrics seem a bit weird... I only read the first book of the Dark Tower series... we'll see...
I don't know Gallows Pole...what is it about?
I think My Last Sunrise is just %%% awesome! As well as Lunar Lament, Crimson King and Love's Tragedy Asunder....

Can I join? I've grown to like a lot of power metal in the past few months Been listening to DragonForce, Power Quest, Kamelot, Stratovarius, Rhapsody, Luca Turilli, Freedom Call, and Angra. And, of course, Nightwish <3
I'm not sure if anyone has ever read the "Rules of Power Metal" - they're quite funny Take a look @ http://z14.invisionfree.com/Femme_Metal ... wtopic=763 .

Hey, can you lot keep a button on the religion? I do see that you've stopped, and thanks. It is strictly against the rules, because people can go for each other's throats- and then we mods have a mess to clean up and end up sweeping you out the door with the trash.
Watch the language too, please.

Found it for yah, Phoenix. xD Hmm, I dunno of too many power metal bands that I like, the only ones that I can think of at the moment are Dragonforce, Iced Earth, and Hammerfall. Any bands yall recommend? I really dont listen to powermetal all too much but maybe I should start. =P Lately its been death and black metal for me, but I should start listening to something relatively new for a while.

Yay. Welcome to the Club and thanks for bumping it back up as well.
DragonForce and Hammerfall are both cool. Never been a fan of Iced Earth at all.
I love all kinds of Metal. Used to be a bit of a big death metal fan when I was younger. Carcass, Entombed, Deicide, Obituary, Death, Morbid Angel that sort of thing. So long as it's good metal I try not to categorise it too much.
PM bands to recommend..hmm. Nightwish, Sinergy, Kamelot, Sonata Artica, Stratovarius, Avantasia, Edguy, Power Quest, Dragonland, Blind Guardian, Rhapsody (in Fire), Lost Horizon..just a few bands off the top of my head.

Cool, cool...I'll download some of their songs when I get back on the other computer (this one doesn't have sound). And yeah I'm still pretty young so that's probably why I'm really getting into that stuff...heh.
