Okay, I said it was coming:

First of all, welcome to our new members!

Quote:
others *cough* Moody's eye *cough* erm..
Yeah. I really did not like that.

Quote:
I think the one thing that I absolutely hated in that movie was.....
The werewolf.
Yes. The werewolf just wasn't right. Too long, not enough hair, walking on hind legs,.....it just didn't work.

Quote:
Also, they mad Sirius out to be like, really mad and crazy, but he wasn't he was barely sane because he knew he was innocent.
I didn't like that either. But it's not Gary Oldman's fault, you know?

Quote:
I did not like that movie at all. I saw it once, opening weekend and I have no desire to ever see it again
The only thing that I liked about that movie was Fred and George, otherwise, I agree with your post.

Quote:
Remus Lupin - A
.......I'm a sucker for Thewlis's Lupin, I can't help it.
ermmm....I really didn't like the actor who they chose to play Lupin. I think the things that bother me the most are how he talks and the moustache. F

Quote:
Those...Head thingies - F
.......What was the point? They're so ANNOYING.
I think that they were added for humour, but it wasn't very funny at all. They concentrate too much on trying to make this movie funny, and they've left out the important parts. F

Quote:
New Dumbledore - A
.......I actually liked Michael Gambon in this one.
I have to disagree, and that's all that needs to be said. F

Quote:
Dumbledore's New Wardrobe - F
.......Bleh!
Yes, F on this one!

Quote:
Marauder's Map - A
.......Man I wanted one of those things!!!
A! So do I!

Quote:
Snape - A
.......Bloody brilliant. "Go for a little stroll...in the moonlight?" Wow, Harry, Snape's teaching werewolves and is mentioning moonlight to Lupin, how could we have ever guess?
As much as I like Alan Rickman, I can't imagine him doing the sixth book. B

Quote:
Trelawney - A
......Awesome, to say the least!
I really don't mind, but I think she needed to look more like a 'oversized butterfly'. C

Quote:
Trelawney's Wardobe - F
.......What I said about Dumbledore's Wardobe.
See above post.

Quote:
Sirius - B
.......Great casting, good make-up. Bad tattoos. Sorry, Sirius, I'm sure you didn't join a cult while in Azkaban.
I don't mind Gary Oldman, but I don't like how the director made him act. So: B for Gary, D for Sirius.

Quote:
Crookshanks - A
.......That's the UGLIEST cat, I've EVER seen!
I don't really remember much of Crookshanks. ???

Quote:
Wait....What was the plot of the movie again? Oh right, the unraveling of the Potter's convicted murder, right.
Lol. They didn't really focus on that!

Quote:
Ah yes, Pig. We didn't see him really in PoA nor anytime in GoF! Oh, you know what I just though of, they didn't have Bagman in GoF, so that means we didn't have Fred and George trying to get their money back and then Harry giving him his winnings!
I know!! I completely agree with all of your post! We don't even know that Fred and George want to start a joke shop!

Quote:
Well I'm scared. They have so much stuff to put in this movie. In addition to what's actually in the book, the director will have to explain the maurauders which alfonso left out, as well as develop Sirius really well seeing as he showed up one pathetic time in the 4th movie.
Yes. I feel sorry for the new director, but I also feel sorry for us, because of what we are going to see.

Quote:
I know! I'm so frightened on how they will do "Snapes Worst Memory" because that's one of my all time favorite scenes in all the books, if they don't do it... ooh I"m going to be so mad!! I wonder if Dan will be able to get angry better than crying and laughing...
They better get it right! And Dan better learn how to cry! It's one of my fav scenes as well.

Quote:
You know what I never pictured James having glasses, like anywhere in the books did it EVER say he had glasses, because all the movie make him have them I just don't seem to remember it...
I never imagined him with glasses, either. I'm not sure if it ever mentions that in the books before.

Quote:
And actually I believe Daniel Radcliffe is going to be playing James, since they are supposed to look alike, although he won't have the scar, and probably diff. glasses
urgh. I really don't want Dan to play James. It just wouldn't look right, seeing two Dans up there.

Quote:
[gasp!] DA meetings! We HAVE to see Luna Lovegood! She's just a one of a KIND!
Yeah! Luna is one of my fav characters! She has my hair!

Quote:
Neville dueling Death Eaters! YEY!!!
YES! Go Neville!

Quote:
Imelda Staunton
Actually, she keeps telling people that she will play Umbridge, but it hasn't been confirmed yet.

Quote:
I pictured Bellatrix in terms of Sirius, dark hair, dark eyes, a handsome face but lessened in beauty due to years in Azkaban.
So did I.

Quote:
Let me say that I'd love to see Orli in HP!!!

But also Keira Knightley! I've seen on a banner here around her as Tonks! Nice idea, even if I imagine her quite different
I have to disagree with both points.

Whew! That was long!

Make sure you breathe Varda, breathe and let your fingers relax ;)

Yeah, so I think Keira looks good with PInk hair, but pink spiked hair.. I just can't picture her with that hair style

You know how the first 2 movies had a different director, I actually want him back, he stuck more to the book, I admire Alfonso's humor, which I think is fine to have in the movie, but you seriuosly have to stick to the books, when its a long series, because it will come back and bite you in the bum

Me too! I want Chris Columbus back! They had a really good 'debate' about this on mugglecast. I won't post it because it's very long but if you want to read it go here. It's about 3/4 of the way down under the heading "Voicemails - Columbus' Return?".

I think that for the 6th and 7th movies, there's so much to explain and the characters need to be so well shown (true to their character) that Columbus would be the best choice. I would not want to see someone like Alfonso doing the 6th movie.

And good news, Columbus has said that he would like to return to direct of the 6th or 7th movie.

For people that say that the first two movies were too 'child-ish', more kids movies, I think it's important to remember that the main characters were 11 years old. The last books are completely different circumstances, so I don't think it would come off that way.

Yeah, I agree.

If not Chris by himself directing the other movies, than a team of the two of them, so we get our story and there can still be a little added humor in it. That would make everybody happy, i think. But yeah, I mean I look at the first movie and I"m like, "Wow the movie is good, but not as good as the second one" and that's mainly because they are 11 years old. But they get better at acting as they get older, I just wish Chris had been able to keep doing the movie...

Humour? What humor?

Hmmm, I'm kinda undecided on Christopher Columbus, his directing in Chamber of Secrets was a bit choppy, but if he had help on balancing the explaining and the action, that'ad be good.

*tries to remember the head things but doesn't seem to be able too*
I think... but no it doesn't seem right...

Maybe like their added scene humor? Which is usually funny, but not at all in the books or really needed, well cept the whole Harry spits out his drink when Cho smiles at him.. heh

That head thing was the stupidist thing ever. NOT funny. It just turned me off the rest of the movie.

hmmm... I'm going to have to steal the movie from my friend and watch for the head thing.. I'm pretty sure I know what your talking about.. but then not so sure, really the only funny things are like little filler scenes or little added things like, Neville, even though Dobby would be better, but Neville being like
"I killed Harry Potter"

You're talking about PoA, then you're talking about GoF  I thought GoF was pretty funny :)

*tries to think of something intelligent to say*

*fails*

EDIT: From Mugglenet:
Quote:
Harry Potter Fan Zone has heard from Enchantment Casting, a British casting agency which represents young actors, that the role of Nymphadora Tonks has been filled by an unknown actress. Apparently she was cast right after casting began. Also, casting for the younger versions of Lily, Snape, Lupin, James, and Luna is now complete.

Although EC is usually informed about all parts in the movie, they have not yet heard any news regarding Marietta Edgecombe and Lavender Brown. As a result, we're guessing they've been cut, but we'll let you know if we get confirmation.
