Well... I started viewing regularly half way throught like... three seasons ago! It took me two or three months after I started watching it that I get Grisom's name down... and then Sarah, and then Poncho... and the Brass... and now Keppler... lol!
Yeah... I'm terrible at names... takes me awhile to remember unless I use them daily!
I watch it... it's on right after Survivor! lol!

3 years? Boy you really ARE bad at names.
Well, you've got a bit of their names --- now you gotta work on spelling!

Yep. Sofia is the blonde police chick.
David Hodges is the trace analyst in the lab who figured out that Bleach was the common element in all of the miniatures.
Al Robbins is the Head coroner, the old guy who's always cutting into people's bodies in the morgue.
David Phillips is the assistant coroner, the guy with the cute glasses who just got married that's always at the scene with the bodies.
Wendy Simms is the DNA tech ---- the pretty chick who Hodges has a crush on....
Mandy Webster is the fingerprint analyst.... I bet pictures would help you. xD Maybe I'll go grab pictures for ye.
Archie Johnson is the video/audio tech that filters out security cameras, audio tapes, recordings, etc. He's the asian guy. Specifically, he's Korean.
Bobby Dawson is long gone now. But he was one of the best lab techie back in the day. He did ballistics, meaning he processed bullets and cartridge casings, etc.
Henry Andrews was one of the new guys that was more prominantly shown in Lab Rats, nervous looking guy --- but total cutie ---- he did unknown substance analysis.... Okay, pictures would totally help. xD

I knew most of those, except for a lot of the newbie lab techs.

CSI characters are one of a kind. I was watching part of an episode of CSI: NY and it just didn't click for me.

Haha, actually, they have the same kind of chracters in all three CSIs. At least, they do in Miami and Vegas. When I get the chance I'll prove it.

Mac Taylor is definitely no Gil Grissom. He just seems way too angry to me. And Horatio Caine is way too passive-aggressive. I guess I'll have to watch more of the series to judge what kind of characters these guys are.

Horatio? Haha.
"Looks like homicide."
To which Mr. Caine replies,
"Then we're looking for a murderer."
Thank you, Captain Obvious.
Anyway, though they haven't succeeded in creating another Grissom, they still have the same ideas behind them. I actually haven't seen New York, so I'm only gonna use main (I mean, like been on the whole series) characters.
• Older, wiser, head of the Crime Lab: Grissom, Horatio
• Average white guy who go through some sort of horrifying trauma: Nick (buried alive), and Speed (actually killed).
• Ethnic man, who always finds a way to use his ethnicity in solving the case: Warrick, Delco
• Southern white girl, in love with another CSI, Sara (I know she's not southern, she just reminds me of a southern girl, in love with Grissom, obviously), Callie (recently fell in love with Delco).
• Eccentric medical examiner: Dr Al Robbins, Dr Alex Woods
• The newbie (compared to the rest of the lead CSIs): Greg and Wolfe

.... Warrick, an ethnic man----wow. When has Warrick used his ethnicity to solve a case? o.O
How do you use "ethnic" for Warrick who is CLEARLY BLACK, and just use "white" for the other guys? o.O
These descriptions are all so.... superficial. =/

Yeah, because Delco is Cuban. That's why I said "ethnic." They're not both black.
And I wasn't trying to be mean about it or anything, I said the characters are built off of the same principal. I purposely made them superficial, because the characters have all developed in diferent ways.

Ehhh, comparing/contrasting show characters get mucky. I wouldn't do it. But you had good intentions. I'll just have to.... not be biased about how good CSI: Miami is.
