Ermmm JustiN Timberlake.. he's a guy!!! And I told you it's disturbing... I'm not supposed to be fangirl-ish about him, a defector from a boyband *shakes head* But he's charming...
Anyway... I'm sorry.. I'm interrupting your serious conversation about the totally hot Michael Emerson.
Please carry on.

A desperate force inside me compels me to join this club and talk about all things Michael.
But no, I must resist, I musn't give in, I can't afford another fangirl obsession
But Joooy dahling, you know you love him.
Sighs. Yes, he's the most adorable, huggable, squeeable bad man ever.
May I sign up for your beautiful club JF?

*squeeee's tooooo*
Well, embaressingly enough I had NO idea who ME was until I saw LOST. And then I became obsessed with the Losties, but I hated the Others.
And then I saw Ben.
And then I was like "Woah Dude."
And lo, FM no longer hated the Others.
[Well, she still didn't like most of the Others, but she did like Ben because he's just rad man.]
Frankly, more than anything I fell in love with his acting skills. Just his cute lil facial expressions seem so much... more better than normal actors.
Admittedly I don't know much about ME, but with the grace of this awesomest club perhaps I shall learn, wot?

Don't worry, it wasn't until I series 3 was announced, that I even knew the name of the man that played Henry/Ben.
When I first saw Henry, I was convinced he was a good guy. I liked him, his attitude, his smile. But because I love bad guys, I wasn't particularly upset when he was found out to be an Other. The Henry Gale episodes were some of the best, but along came more non-Henry episodes and stupid storylines and he started to fade from my memory.
Then series 3 was due to come out, and I heard that the storyline would involve Henry Gale and I remembered how much I liked that character. So I went to LOST-media, joined in the discusions on AU, and lo and behold....a Ben fan girl was born....I watched a 2 minute clip of Ben from a series 3 episode every single day until I could see him on TV. I saw pictures of Michael (not beaten up and scarred) and something inside went "my God, that man is cute". And then I read up about him on Wiki and I even found michaelemerson.net and I thought "my, God that man can act". And so a Michael fan girl was born.
I agree totally with you. His acting is, quite frankly, the best out of the LOST cast. So under-stated, but he steals every scene he is in....he may not be tall....or as macho as the other LOST males...but when he's in a scene...you look at him to see what he'll do, what little movements he'll make, what expressions he'll use.
He's up for an acting award for his role as Ben, I sure hope he wins. 'Cos he is just...awesome....and hot...don't forget that....

Yay! I love fangirl stories! I'm a fangirl a million times over: what's sad is I never lose any of the obsessions. Unlike other girls, mine keep piling up until I think I shall explode from all the shivering and squeeing I do when I see one of said persons pictures.
LOL! Yes hot, we won't forget that. Very important.
Oh my. OHMYOHMYOHMY! Sudden realization has just struck me like a bolt of lightening! that face, I KNEW there was something familiar about that face!!
He was in the Legend of Zorro wasn't he?!!? *DIES*
The Harrison or whatever-his-name-was guy!
I KNEW his face was familiar. Gosh. It's a small [s]world[/s] hollywood.
On LOST he's probably my third favorite character [which for a hardcore fan like yourself is probably quite appalling] but if they don't do something interesting with Sayid soon, he'll be bumped up to second favorite. =]
Oh, by the way, everybody needs a dose of this cute smile once a day...

Aww...well I sure hope I never lose my fan-girl-ism for M.E.
I never, ever, ever used the word hot to describe someone before, until I started thinking more and more about M.E. It's amazing the amount of really good lookin' men on stage and screen over the years, and I chose M.E to be honoured with the phrase "hot". I can't help it. He's no Cary Grant but there's something about him that makes me feel all warm and....squishy...
Yes, he played Harrigan...he had really weird dfacial hair though.
http://gallery.lost-media.com/displayim ... 1174&pos=2
It doesn't suit him at all, but it was how his character looked so....*shrug*....I'm trying to think of a way to rent that film again so I can squee a little bit.... ..and he's in one of the last episodes of the X-Files so I'm planning on watching 9 years worth *dies* to avert suspicion of why I'm really watching them.
LOL!! Third is wayyy better than most people would give to him. Yeah, Sayid was an Ok character...but he's just not doing anything at all.
Oooh....piccie!!!! *squee*

Well, I'd like to meet the person who made the unofficial rule that only young guys can be hot, and throttle them until their brains jiggle. Yup. And then I'd throw them in a dark room with a glowing image of ME on a platform and there they would stare at it day and night until his cuteness drove them mad.
Booyah.
In fact, the first actor *I* ever official called hot was... dun dun duuuhh... Christopher Lee! And to this day I think he's a stunning guy. Pshaw, who cares about age when they got a handsome face like that!? M.E.'s best feature methinks is his smile. I'd give all my socks and my USB cable to have a smile like that. Every time he smiles on Lost it just makes me tingle and feel all gushy.
The moment I realized I loved him was when he said "Got any milk?"
BEST. LINE. EVER.

Lol, well when you find that person, leave some room for me to throttle them as well. LOL!!! I love the "cuteness drove them mad" bit!!
Ooh....he is very handsome...and his voice just make me wanna melt... ...he is a stunning man...
Ooh....that smile...that look...that man.... .... LOL! I loved that line! *really needs to see series 2 again*....my favourite line though (the one I watched about a million times before I saw the epsiode) is "you never made soup for me"...I LOVE how he delivers that line....hopeful...expectant maybe.....but so cute I nearly fell of my chair...
