Can I be a Helper? I would prefer History and war, but can help a bit in science, too. Oh, and a little latin, but that's sort of uncommon, I'm probably the only geek on this site who'd bother with it.

^ No, lingua latina stultus est. :) I took 3 years of Latin and died during those 3 years. 'Course now I want to take it up again, with Greek and German, but can't really.

I'm glad to help you !!! "comment sont-elles? " you can translate it = "what are they like" it's physical.
or something similar "comment vont-elles? " = how are they ? !!!!
I hope I help you otherwise tell me don't hesitate !!!!! :) :)

Ok... that's what I thought, but in context it makes no sense. *shrug*

Edit: Hehehe... the 'elle' was referring back to the tie in the previous question. Talk about pronoun confusion. *rolls eyes*
But thanks for your help, Porteuse!

Ridendt stolidi verba latinae But I can see what you mean. I'm only in my second year and begining to perish. But the first year was fun!! Cool that you want to ( or have?) take Greek and German. I learned the greek alphabet, but nothing more. Greek and Latin are both great to learn, as they are the root of most languages. German, however, that would be hard...

I think the equivalent in English would be "I like you" ('like' is not as romantic as 'love'), but it could also be mistaken for meaning "I'm interested in you in a romantic way."

So it might be better to say, "I think you are amazing/cool/nice/awesome."

Sure. :) What are your speciality subjects?

I was thinking guys, would anyone object to me linking your names on the front page so people could quickly PM you if they were a bit stuck, and didn't want to post in the thread (for whatever reason)?
