I thought the same when i saw the end... they reallycut all the end.... I'd have loved to see Gimli and Legolas in Fangorn or in the cave....

well it would have been reallly awsome if pj could do the scouring of the shire but when watching the comentarys he said that the scouring of the shire was kinda a mini quest and didn't have anything to do with The Lord of the Rings and that putting that part there would take away from the main theme (the lord of the rings) and would seem long and drawn out for the movie fans. (even though t'would make us book geeks happy)

Yeah.... i heard this too... i think he is kinda right... I think it's better to don't speak about that than to deform it like for other scenes...

Yeah, the ending is my only real complaint about the LOTR. I would have been quite happy to sit through another 20 minutes as long as we find out what happened to them all. I still can't believe Aragorn & Co were not at the docks to see Gandalf, Frodo etc leave Middle-Earth. Arwen was not even there to say farwell to her dad and granny.

Did you know they weren't in the books either? Hmm...I've wondered that too. But I think it just wasn't how things worked at the time. Elrond and Arwen said their final farewell after the wedding. And like Gimli said, that was the last time the whole fellowship would be together before he and Legolas went into Fangorn.

Hello .I would like to join. My favorite quote from Galadriel is from the Fellowship of The Ring. This is from when Galadriel gives Sam brown wooden box filled with Lothlorien "earth":
" Though you should find all barren and laid waste, there will be few gardens in Middle-earth that will grow like your garden, if you sprinkle this earth here. Then you may remember Galadriel, and catch a glimpse far off of Lorien that you have only seen in our winter. For our spring and summer have gone by, and there will be seen on earth againsave in memory."
This quote is moving to me, because it made me imagine all the beautiful things that could have been in Lorien before this time. Well, that's it.

oh, I forgot. I like Galadriel for her wisdom the way she helps Frodo find his courage.

Hello , I would like to ask a question. Is there a special day that we celebrate Galadriel? much like we celebrate Frodo and Bilbo's birthday?
Just asking . That's it for now.
