I was reading through the Narnia series through Voyage of the Dawn Treader and whatnot and I know there are alot of talk about Aslan symbolizing Christ but I get the feeling he's basically GOD during Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

^Interesting. (Well, because Jesus is God) *Tries to remember Voyage* I only read it last summer...
The reason why Aslan represents specifically Jesus is beacause in LWW, he died on the Stone Table, just like Christ died on the cross. So throughout the books, he's looked on as the Messiah.

Agreeable. Even if you arent christain the books can apply to your religon. But I would say Lewis wrote the books as a aligory of the bible. Just my opion of course.

I can't remember for sure if he flat out said we wrote them as an allegory, but I would find it very hard to believe if he hadn't.
Sometimes I read a Narnia book instead of my Bible...Jesus is more real to me in Aslan form sometimes.

Yeah, I understand the sarcificing for Edmund's sin but all throughout Voyage of the Dawn Treader, it just seemed like whenever there was trouble and whenever they're stuck in a ditch somewhere, Aslan comes and saves the day -somehow- directly and indirectly.
