yeah. I find it really interesting and at the same time sad. I guess I find it of an interest because it's surprise that society could do something like that no matter how bad their situation. I think it should be discussed more but with all the controversy, I see the problem. Heard of David Irving? True, aspects of history do repeat themselves and are threat to us everyday. In some parts of the world, there is a threat of another Holocaust.

It scares me to think about the thought of another Holocaust! I'm doing a research project in English right now on the Holocaust and the things that happened to these people is just indescribable!
About my latest story~ I've started this story about this 4th grade girl who has cancer and this 17 year old who's life is at its wits end. The story is told through switching out of her journal entries to chapters describing him dropping out of school and running away from home. I'm planning to have them meet and how she sort of saves him. But i haven't gotten all that far yet.

I'm most interested in the fifteenth century and before. I love learning about ancient civilizations, especially the Romans and Egyptions. the Saxons and Byzantines fascinate me as well.
that sounds really good, Itarilde. is it a novel or a short?

I actually love more around the time of the Renisannse <how do you spell that word??? I love the outfits and different things the people did to achieve "beauty". I enjoy seeing the jewelry too!
And I plan on it being a novel. It's weird but I have a serious problem with writing short stories. As in I try, but they always end up being sooooo long! _________________ Made by Meganelf

I have the same problem. Everytime I start to write a story, even if I want it to be a short story, it ends up being really long. :/

It's just a pain...especially when you have to write a short story for English. I can get soooo involved with the characters, i want to keep their fictional life going. But then I have to stop and think that it's only an assignment. I hate that! It's so restricting!

My english teacher is making us write a short story, and I'm having a lot of trouble keeping it short. I think I'm going to write a condensed version of the story I want to use then write the whole thing out later.

I just got done writing the climax and ending for one of my stories. I've also written the beginning. Now I just have to figure out how to connect them! lol

I just started chapter two of my "short story". But I do short chapters, so I guess it isn't really that long. I probably should do a bit of prewriting, so I know what the heck I'm writing. Oh well. *laughs*
