My favourite character of the Trojan War is Odysseus. Not only because he's smart. He really didn't want the whole war and he tried everything to stay at home, with his wife and his son.

The Illias.. Weird name for it, I've always known it as the Illiad. I agree with you about the charries, those too are my favourites, but I like Andromanche too.
