I was so disappointed to see that Eragon was going to be PG. I hate it when movies do that- they should make them as good and realistic as possible, not cut things out just so more kids can see it. The book is certainly PG-13, why shouldn't the movie be?

Right. Thanks, EonwesBestMate.
New question: What is your favorite version of the story of King Arthur & his knights? (by name, if you remember it)
My favorite one was by Stephen R. Lawhead, in his The Pendragon Cycle. The books go Taliesin, Merlin, and then Arthur. There are two more, but they have a separate plot, and I haven't read them.
It is a seriously awesome version. It ties in the destruction of Atlantis, the Daoine Sidhe, and Celtic culture into the coolest books about Arthur ever.

I haven't read that many books of King Arthur, because most of the times they only talk about the men in it, and I would like to hear about the women also! So that's why my favourite King Arthur book must be The Mists of Avalon, a tale about King Arthur from a women's view.

It's a hard choice, but perhaps my favorite would be the one that Tolkien translated- Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. Then and again, that's the most recent story that I've read about Arthur's knights.

I've got to find those books by Lawhead. I want to read those! I'd say my favorite book about king Arthur is Sword at Sunset by Rosemary Sutcliff. It's not strictly about Arthur, but rather a man that the King Arthur legends could have come from. It takes place during the dark ages in the British Isles-it's just wonderful.

I havent read about arthur in ages but my fave knights story/tale is about Lohengrin, The Swan Knight of Kleve. I think it is part of a germanic saga but it quite a knightly kinda thing. But I have read a little of Sir Gawain an dthe green knight as well. I want ot get it and read it all . when I have time lol
