^Hahahahaha It does get blurry sometimes!  But I think if Dumbledore hired her is because she's very good in what she does

And Dumbledore never does anything without a reason. Besides he's got good reasons for trusting people. Hmmm very interesting. It looks like Tonks can be extremely serious in dire situations, take example the incident at the Department of Mysteries. There wasn't much detail on what Tonks does, but she didn't do anything clumsy to our knowledge and it seems she was helping pretty well.

I wonder if it happened between OotP and HBP or at the end of OotP or maybe during OotP.
I think most likely between OotP and HBP....
I can see Tonks going all out after Sirius's death.
