Well, I don't think the horcruxes make him immortal --- just sustaining his soul so that he can come back --- but no immortal, and very much very weak.
I suppose you're right about the Philosopher's Stone immortality but I'm a bit confused about Flamel --- being he's dead now because the Philosopher's stone is gone/destroyed?

It's just like he's spreading himself around, so no one can kill him all at once. Well, the Philosopher's Stone will no longer protect him from old age/disease. Dumbledore said that he still had some time left after the stone was destroyed.
I'm SO confused!

[scratches head]
Bah!! But the Philosopher's stone history is that it can make anyone immortal....and possibly to bring back the dead. So...[taps chin]

It can bring back the dead?
*checks the HP Lexicon*
Quote: The most fabulous magic item of them all, the goal of alchemists and wizards for centuries. There was only one such stone known to be in existence, one created by Nicolas Flamel. The Philosopher's Stone gives unlimited gold and immortality. Rather a nice payoff, but perhaps it isn't as perfect as it seems, as Dumbledore says: "Humans tend to choose the things that are worst for them." The Stone became the object of Voldemort's desire in his quest for immortality, and it was only through the intervention of Harry and his friends that Voldemort didn't obtain it from its hiding place in Hogwarts. Quote: The Elixir of Life extends life, but requires that the drinker consume it regularly for all eternity if the drinker is to maintain his or her immortality Quote: Someone dependent on the Elixir can die if the supply runs out (for instance, if the Philosopher's Stone being used to make it is stolen or destroyed) or if the supply of Elixir is contaminated

Well, I'm not sure if JK Rowling considers that but previous history about it even before the HP world, it has been considered to bring back the dead.
So how do you get Elixir from a ROCK?

That must be terrible on the lungs!
I'm curious as to how Nicholas Flamel created the Philosopher's Stone....
It's certainly not that easily made...

I'm just popping in, but it's kinda weird for me, everyone where I'm from knows it as the Sorcerer's stone, if you said Philosopher's stone here in Texas, people would look at you like you were crazy!

*giggles* neither can I. So you were talking about the stone, eh? I'm not sure how he made it, but since it's fiction, I guess Rowling didn't expect us to look into it this much.

Yep --- Beriadanwan was nice enough to give us the link.
Still though...
Luna is Snape's daughter.

That CAN'T be possible. Luna....Snape...Oh I totally see the family resemblance! *giggles uncontrollably*
Of course, I was reading some rumors about the 6th book once before it came out, and someone said that Dumbledore was Lily's father. Of course, he wasn't.

Apparently some fans think that two people in the HP world can't have auburn hair.
