xD Joaquin plays obsessed so well.
I loved how Merrill jumped up and away from the TV and just to sit back down inches away as they did the replay. I couldn't watch it twice. I held up my head and looked away when they froze the picture on the video. xD

XD And he's also pretty good looking scared, but also looking like he likes being scared. XD The moving closer the to TV kinda proves that.
Aw, Kit. It's just a tall, green, poisoning, harvesting human alien. What could be scary about that?

Okay, so this isn't exactly a Joaquin thing but, I just cracked up laughing when Morgan got a tape to record the broadcasting, "I'm using your tape Uncle Merrill." and it shows 'Swimsuit Special'. xD Oh by golly.
Why exactly did Uncle Merrill so interested in the military though?

LOL! Is that what is said? I don't think I saw that.
Hmm... well he's not too happy working at the gas station is he? And it was mentioned that he feels as if he isn't doing anything to help his brother and the kids... so maybe he was at that point thinking about joining up... but I doubt he will be doing that now.... it could also be an in-joke thing, as one of the posters was for his other film Buffalo Soliders.

But---the military? That's the answer to everything? I hope he ends up giving up the military and trying out for minor league or even the majors again. At the end we do hear him with the kids down stairs when Graham was getting dressed, so I'm hoping that that meant Merrill changed his mind.

I think he was probably feeling useless so maybe he thought being in the army would be something useful for him to do.
Naw, after that I can't see him going into the army. He's going to find a nice girl and settle down in his barn. XD

British is by far sexier.  I mean, scottish is great, but clearly---who has the better huh? Don't worry, he'll come to his sense and whisk you off somewhere (when Norrie isn't in the galley).

At this rate, Norrie's going to become another Davy Jones. I just recently found out that Joaquin and Liv Tyler used to date---that just...baffles me.

Yeah, I read about that a while ago. He was really serious about her, all the things he's said.... I don't know if it baffles me... but they do seem to be so different, they were an unusual couple...

I think you're probably right, she seems to happy and he seems too calm and quiet... a bit like Ivy and Lucius though.
