Yup, 12. That's what the book said. I know, it does seem like she should be older though. :erm: probably because Anna is a far amount older.

Well, it says in LWW she's 12, in HHB she's 26, in PC she's 13 (what gets me though is that Edmund is only 11! Skandar really can't pass as an 11-year-old lol), and in LB she's 21. but why would Suspian be so wrong in PC, TT? if it went by that you know Caspian is suppose to be 13 in PC too. So they'd be the same age.

(hmmm, sorry to dissapoint you, TT... ;) :P)

My gosh... they're all so young! It doesn't seem like that at all. Btw, how old are Anna and Skandar? :erm:

Um, I dunno. What? Caspians's 13 too? How weird! Um... I just think it would be more... natural if a 16 year old had that sort of relationship, then if she was only 13. But, I don't want to cause problems or anything... so, I'll stop there. ;)

(lol, that's okay. :teehee:)

Anna is 19 and Skandar is 16 according to Wikipedia.

lol, no it doesn't seem like they should be that young at all! but I'm sure that's just because of their actors... really Georgie is about the only one who REALLY looks about the age of her character.

and, hey, maybe there could be such a thing as "Book Characters' Ages" and "Movie Characters' Ages". :P Because seriously I can't really see Ben Barnes as a thirteen year old Caspian... :P not that there's anything wrong with him or any of that because sometimes he does capture the perfect sense and attitude of a 13-year-old... but still. ;) maybe a 17 or 18 Caspian. :P

ah, I see, TT. Well, that is true... I wonder if they thought of that while making the movie. :erm:

hey, watch what you're saying, TT! Skandar and Anna aren’t that old!

Yes, Georgie really does have that young and innocent lok. She's really sweet.

Yes... Ben Barnes looks way older. I suppose you're right--it's just so hard to separate them! Whenever I read the books, me mental images are the charries are the ones in the movie. It's really unavoidable.

Thought of what, PD?

(Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot who I was talking to. ;) No, what I meant was that they are old compared to their charries. Honestly. :P)

yes, she does. Especially in LWW. She did seem to lose some of that in PC though, as I think Anie said in the PC thread... but still. She's still absolutely perfect for the role!

haha, doesn't he though? :P I know what you mean... it's exactly the same for me! Which I think is sort of a curse and a good thing at the same time. Because you really don't use your imagination with a image already in your mind. :erm: that's why I'm wondering what I'll think about PC when I actually read the book again since I read it before watching the movie. It's also the same way with RotK. I'm really happy I read RotK before I watched it because I have some ideas about the way things look that aren't like that in the movie. :) so that's kinda cool to use your imagination like that. But, yes, for lots of things especially characters it's really unavoidable now. Except for charries like Puddleglun, Eustace and Jill. :erm:

are we having some selective memory loss, TT? ;) we were talking about how old Susan and Caspian were and I said I wondered if the director, writers, producer ect thought of that while writing the Suspian stuff. ;)

(yeah. :yeahright: I'll let you slide this time. :P)

She's so sweet in LWW! I was kind of sad to see her grow up in PC. I mean, yeah... it fits her now... but it was sad to see teh little Lucy grow up. :( But, I guess her innocence will always be there o LWW. Always. :)

I know what you mean. I didn't read any of the lotr books before seeing the movie, so the experience of imaging the charries for myself is lost to me on that. :erm: I guess... But, those charries will get filled up soon enough.

 I remember nw! ;) Oh, they must have. I mean, the know everything there is to know about the books, right? Or, at least, they should... :P But, I think they were trying to make the charries seem older, instead of trying to make the actors seem younger.

(Thank you. :D)

I know! Isn't she though? :) yeah, it definitely is... but you're right. It fits her now to be a little more grown up. I guess it was just a little surprising to see Georgie grow so much is all. And we shall always have that innocent Lucy for LWW. Actually I think it would be kind of cool to be Georgie. Someday she can show her kids LWW and they can see what she looked like when she was just a little girl. :teehee:

That's kind of a shame. But I didn't get the experience of imagining the characters for myself for LotR either. Just imagining RotK's locations and stuff for myself. :erm: although my mom did read FotR to me and my brother before the movies came out, but that doesn't count. :erm:

lol, there you go. ;) yeah, that's what I figure too. it seems like they were, yeah. :erm: which I suppose sort of works.

(yeah, just remember I've got my eye on you. :P)

Oh, may I join this club? I only got into the movies of Narnia a few weeks ago and absolutely adored them, especially the character of Susan.
I actually have no idea about the books, and only have seen the first movie and a few scenes of the second one, as in Austria it hasn't been showed yet, so actually I really lack of detailed knowledge :P Sorry for that.

awesome! Glad to have you join us, Erana! :bye2: Ahhh, I see... well, firstly, you REALLY should read all 7 books. If you like the first movie, you'll love the books! and when Prince Caspian comes out where you live it is a MUST see. :P although if you're not that detailed in the world of Narnia Susan's tale might sadden you... :erm:

Thank you! :D
Well, then I will definitely try to get a grasp on these books, I'm quite sure I won't be able to lay them away anymore :) I know some parts of Susan's story, wikipedia told me some things about Susan in the books :P, but it mostly are the sad character histories which I just fall in love with.

you are welcome. :P
do. they are so worth it. and they are really really easy to read. Have you read the Lord of the Rings books? ah, I see... really? you tend to go for more tragic characters too? That's the same for me! I love my tragic/sad charries (and stories for that matter)! :teehee: and Susan is definitely a sad character... although I think she ends up redeeming herself in the end.

Yep, I definitely will read them. LotR I read about 5 times by now, as I did with the most books Tolkien wrote, and I find them to be better than the movies. I wonder if I will feel so as well after reading the Narnia books, cause I already love the movies so much :P
Well, I can't really explain why it is that I fall for the most tragic female characters all the time, cause so often their fate makes me horribly sad and I so wish for them a happy ending. But I read some things about Susan on a few pages now, and although I don't know her entirely yet, not at all actually, I believe so too, that she will redeem herself in the end, which makes me a little more hopefull and cheerfull. :)

ok, I was just wondering if you'd read LotR or not because if you've read them... well, then reading Narnia will be a breeze. ;) they're really simple books. simple but classic. :) REally? well, I guess I must say MOST of the time the book is better than the movie. although LotR came close for me. :P but you've read them 5 times? cool! I've only read RotK twice and FotR (the one I've raed the most) 3 1/2 times. :teehee: nah, if you love the movies now I don't think you'll change your opinion too much. Or I hope not. ;)
aww! I know exactly what you mean! It's the same for me! yes, I agree. I'm pretty sure Su doesn't desert Narnia forever. Which is awesome for Susan fans like us! :-D and hopefully you'll still think so and just get to know and love Susan better and better the better you get to know her. ;) I'm sure you will. :)
