Um, I don't remember all the exact details of them, but most of dreams end up with me dying in some gruesome way. And it definitely feels real.

Some of the ways I've died have been:

Crucifixion
Asphyxiation (or being crushed to death, I don't remember which was first--this one involved an anaconda)
being mauled by bears (couple of times), cougars, etc.
being bitten by various snakes
impaling

Recently my dreams have been a little more pleasant, but just a note: everything that happened to me in those dreams felt entirely real, up to the point where I "died" (in this case, the dreams would switch at the moment of death). In the one where I was crucified, I could feel the nails going in, and my wrists were sore for a while in the morning.

I'd be really interested in hearing how you interpret all of that.

Hmmm....one possibility that you could be feeling the pain where you are inflicted may be caused by Dream Terrors! But to understanding why you feel this pain. Now, i am not sure myself, but no dream can have you killed, because oviously the dream would have to end. I am not a believer that if you die in your dream you die in real life though. However, i do think that when you sleep, you are somewhat phsically present in that dimesion (we will call it dream world ^_^). The pain you feel, or the experiences you have there can affect how you are in rl. Not saying that every pain you get in a dream will be a pain in real life, but some can. I would suggest paying close attention to the dreams that hurt you in rl because they may be trying to tell you something important. But i also concerned that you can have night terrors, that can also do the same thing, so i would read up on it.

Well the thing is, I'm never actually scared or frightened in my dreams. It's more like "I'm about to die again. Whoop-de-doo." I never feel any emotions normally connected with nightmares.

But yet you feel pain after....hmmmm. Another possiblitity is that you dont share your emotions in rl either. Cause then the dream is teaching you that bad consuquences happen when you arent being emotional.....is this closer?

Well, kind of, I guess--but I do share a lot of emotions in real life. So I'll get shot or something and be thinking (in my dream) "Hey look. I just got shot. It hurts. That's kind of cool..." I guess you could say I think somewhat analytically when I'm having one of those dreams.

Hmmm....do you have some sort of 'want' for pain? Because your response seems to reflect that, or that you fear nothing.

Okay I have a weird dream:

I'm in this room in Venice and one of the walls which goes into one of the small water alleyways is missing. My younger cousin is there and he keeps on jumping in the water, but I somehow know - have been warned idk - that there's something bad in the water. Whether there is or not I jump in and try to get him out. Whilst I'm pushing him out I see a grate - like those ones in wave pools to make the waves - and I know that whatever is bad is behind there. Nothing ever happens, but my cousin continues to jump in the water again and again.

I think this might just mean that I've been watching too many horror movies lol

Another (I have tons of bad dreams) which I really want to know about and probably needs a PG-13 rating is:

I'm never actually in the dream just watching people. There's this house with lights in one of the rooms and these two girls go up there to see what it is. They find the room, but before they can go in and see some soldiers - on horse back - come up the stairs and so they hide round a corner. The soldiers disappear again and then one of the girls goes round to look through the door. The other is creeped out and tries to pull her away to leave, but the first girl somehow has a knife. She spins the other girl around and drives the knife straight through her nose and then slices her face off. What I don't get is that they were friends seconds before and I could tell that they were.

Sorry for the graphicness :( I have really scary dreams).

I don't think I have a 'want' for pain, but I could, I guess.

I think, though, that I don't necessarily fear the pain so much as other things--if it were a true nightmare, my family, friends, and basically everyone I know that I'm on good terms with would die first, and I wouldn't be able to help them. That would be a nightmare.

I just can't figure out my normal dreams. They're just so...odd.

Maybe you're moving in your sleep or something... once I had this dream there was a hole in my hand and it was because there was a spot there and I had scratched it raw in my sleep.

Ok Doc! I gots one!
i was in the Smithsonian Geography Museum ...i don't know if there really is one of those in D.C but it was in my dream..... I was with my dad and we were walking down this hall that had big rubber maid looking cabinets on the left side of the hall. They all had manila folders in them that had samples of rocks and elements I think. i grabbed on of them on a top shelf and started walking down the hall a guard stopped me and said " Make sure you put that back before you leave' ok so I guess i ignored him and I walked down the hall, my dad wasn't with me anymore. The hall slowly started to change into looking like a fancy hotel and I stopped at a wood door that said " Eragon" on it there was a velvet rope and and a woman who looked like she was Muslim ...I think stopped me and said" To get in to see the cast you must have $5000 and i see that you don't so go on"
i looked at her and said " But i have to get this folder to Eddi fast!"
All the sudden the door opened and Edward Speelers popped his head out and ushered me in and gave the woman a dirty look.
When I got in there Eddi, Emma Watson 9 from Harry Potter0 and , Rupert Grint were all in there the were all sitting on the bed and laughing ..and that when I woke up...

Hmmm......this is a toughy indeed *drinks energy drink*. Well, lets see. Well, with the walls changing that represents, to me, that changes are happening in your life, but you are having some obsitcals in your way. However, you need to figure out how to get past it yourself. Now the multifarious people behind the door represent your differnet paths or different parts of you. You may be looking for yourself.
