Sirius is charged as murderer.
And Remus Lupin got bit by a famous werewolf when he was young. Geez!

Okay. Well, she did put Tonks and Remus together at the end of Book 6 after DD's death, I s'pose that saved her hide.

True, there are alot of tragedies in the HP world, but there are happy things along the way. It almost mirrors life. We have alot of happy moments, I'm sure we do, but for some reason we hilight all the bad stuff more and that's what makes it seem like its so dark. Harry sees a lot of unexpected deaths, but that is how it is in life. About Remsu and Tonks, we can only hope it goes well, and that they don't go through any major set backs. It's all in Rowlings hands. I still don't see the point of having Sirius "supposedly" killed; they could have just captured him and thrown him back into Azkaban. Even if his friends did try to rule him out, not like they would believe them, they'd see his friends as supporters and sympathizers of Black.

Awwww. That would be the perfect ending for both of them but since JKR is unpredictable, I don't think it will happen. If it does, I would be jumping all over the place

if it reassures you, Rowling loves her characters as much as we do. she doesn't kill them off unless it's necessary or advances the plot in some way.
thought I didn't see how Sirius's death advanced the plot...  _________________
