*is getting pounced on*
Ok, a sausage buttie..is basically sausages on bread..so it's a sandwich but we call then butties or baps.
Here's one being prepared.

And here's a bacon buttie or butty in some cases.

Bangers and mash is sausages and gravy. You can have veg with it if you want.
http://www.sallyvanmeter.com/gallery/al ... 20Mash.jpg
You can also build the mash into a mound on the plate had stick the sausges in the top.
Such as.

Corned beef hash, is corned beef minced up with potatoes and some sort of veg I believe.
http://www.harringtonscornedbeef.com/im ... f-hash.jpg
Full English Breakfast (such an institution over here it needs capital letters) is bacon, eggs, fried bread, fried tomatoes, mushrooms, hash brown, black pudding, beans and sausages.

As I never eat breakfast I'm not really a fan of the Full English. It's a bit greasy for me. But I would eat the eggs, sausages, beans, mushrooms, fried bread, hash brown. Fried tomataoes and bacon do nothing for me.
How that helped y'all.
You know it never ceases to amaze me the images you can find on Google.

So do you generally call sandwhiches butties? Because I swear I've heard of a jam buttie before but I may have been mistaken because of the accent.

Nope. We don't say chicken buttie or ham buttie. But your right, we call jam sandwiches butties as well. I'm not sure why it seems to be only those three.

In a very small village in North Yorkshire! I would give you the name of the village, but my mum doesn't like me giving out information like that on the web - oh well. But its very lovely here.
Whereabouts are you?

I'll like to join....
As for the phrase, "On my bloody honour!"
I really love England and would like to live there for my entire life! Everything there is as good or better than things down in America: indie rock bands, actors, girls, cars, the capital. I haven't been there but I am so eager to go.

Fwee! I haven't been here in a while. Sorry JF.
How are we all?
Oh darlings, we must do lunch!

Enjoy!
EDIT: Anyone seen daughterofkings recently, I feel the need to speak with another Shropshire lass.
