Well, I'm taking Bumpkin to horse camp this week, so that will be fun.
Honeys owners are taking her back, to a different barn, so I won't get to see her anymore.  The owner's daughter does not even care about her anymore, it's extremly upsetting. _________________ I was Nymphadora Tonks

My horse was lame for awhile then we found that she had an abscess. Shes better now though! I rode her the other day and she kept crowhopping when I tried to canter her. Im sick now though so I cant ride I hope your horse feels better! _________________ <center>

Any body have any tips to deal on how to deal with your horse when you get frustrated. I was ready to scream at Dancer last night because it felt like she wasn't listening and her lope felt more like a trot.

Was she just not listening because she was being stubborn? Usually if I get really mad at Mia I try to stay calm and make her do what I want until she does it. Then when she does it I reward her and then do something else for a bit. Then I try and make her do what I want again. But if Dancer is not listening at all and you are getting too frustrated I would suggest to try work on something else or just stop wanting. You never want to get mad at your horse and ride them, its much better to just get off before something bad happens. Let me know how everything goes!

Here are some pictures of me and Starlight?
My leg slid back on most of them (this was a while ago) and Starlight jumped a little funky!! But I love her and we got a lot better after some intense flatwork!
Really awkward jump!

Hey everyong! I haven't been on here in forever!
Well, I've got good news! I got a horse! Got a horse got a horse got a horse! yay! so happy!
here's some pictures:
She's a quarter horse, Arabian mix! She's gotten a little lighter... from the sun. She's 3yr old, about 14.3 hh... green! We haven't had the chance to put a saddle on her yet! Her name is Zippy Zoe, or Zoe for short. She's not registered, and I got her almost a week ago. _________________

Yes, I am happy! Starlight is beautiful by the way!
Oh, and the white spot you see on Zoe's head on the first pic... that a gash she got on the way to my house. She didn't like trailers. Comes to find out that the person who we bought her from, bought her from some people that would hit her legs and stuff to get her in the trailer... sad...

i would suggest you get her desensitized from that Eruraina you need to keep the trailer a good experience and can't force her into it but from, those experiences she could like flip out worse and thats not good, but she is very gorgeous and she looks like she's gonna get bigger maybe soon from what i'm seeing in the pictures
