Ha! I'm right with you JF when it comes to the after your married thing. I definitly will not have kids untill after I'm married. (I'm old-fashioned too ) Though I don't really think it's an old fashioned idea.
People should be married before they sleep with each other.

Personally, I'm not going to kiss my future husband 'till at the altar. What 'bout the rest of you? (guys included!)

Ehehe.. also not thinking of joining, but I thought I'd just drop a line..
I don't really think marriage would be for me, either... it just seems something a little too... normal. As for children.. I can't see myself having them, either; I do like children.. I'm not saying I have anything against them; but that really wouldn't be my thing... I can't see myself living that kind of life.. probably sounds selfish of me to say so, but I don't want to settle down into a house-wife kind of position.. working around the corner, and looking after children all day long.. that's just not my idea of happiness.
I like writing, and I'm basically throwing myself into any subjects at college, that will enable me to become an author.. after that; I don't know what will happen.. but I just wouldn't be willing to 'settle down'.. at least not in the sense that lots of people would consider.
Just my opinion. ^^;;

I'm definitely going to go to college, seeing as even in the board game LIFE, my dad forces me to go. For a carreer, I'd love to teach. You know, be a teacher that students love. I mean, not like playing kickball all day in class, but treating students with respect, letting them feel comfortable to ask questions, etc. Being taught by stupid teachers now only feeds that drive.

I really, really, really want to get married! If I could, I'd get married now, haha! Hopefully it will happen how it did with my parents, meet him at college and marry after we graduate.
I would love to have kids. Yeah, it's definitely painful [you're not a wimp, Larael!!], in addition to everything that comes before actually giving birth. But I know it'd be worth it. That's what everyone says, at least. My mom had my sister and I without the what-do-you-call-it, and all three of us are alive and well. But I think it's safe to say that it hurt enough for her to use it with my brother. I'm not sure how many, but three seems like a good number. I love having just two siblings. My voice is heard, and yet I'm hardly ever alone.

You are quite the reassurer Gwen! Having kids really can't be all as bad and as painful as it seems, I mean women have been having children for centuries. If the pain hasn't stopped them by now, then I don't think it will stop anyone. Not even me I hope. As you said it's all worth it in the end when you've finally got a little bundle of joy.

Wooo... we've been having some pretty deep discussions here. I think we scared the guys off.

Hmm...I'd love to get married, too, but first I'd have to fall in love. I'm not going to kill myself if marriage isn't in God's plan for me, and I'm not really sure about kids. Sure, I'd love to have them, but there are so many kids out there without families...I would really like to adopt, maybe. But I really wouldn't want to become the 'average housewife' either, as selfish as it may sound. I'll just wait til the time comes to decide.

I'd like a job that keeps me interested and inspired, whatever it pays. If I can live off it. Obviously I'd like it to be a job that is well paid, but ultimately, I have to be happy doing it

I'd like to get married, but only if I find the right girl. If I don't find the right person, I'm not going to marry just because. Unfortunately I have a sneaking suspicion that I could be on my own. (no change from normal )

As for kids, just at the moment I'm not sure, cos I find children annoying I expect that it is just a phase though. If I have kids I would want 2 or 3, I couldn't cope with more. I know that as a child, more siblings isn't something I'd relish, but as someone who is quite happy on his own, having siblings can keep the parents busy, and give me the time I like.

As to the whole not kissing etc thing, I have no problems with kissing and sex before marriage, but obviously, I would want to honour my partners wishes. I do feel that no kissing until the altar is a tad excessive, and a simple show of affection like that isn't something that should be held back ^^
