Eek Feb. 6th is the day my library closes for 3 weeks for renovations.. so sad.. have to get all my books this weekend..
But that's besides the point..
Personally, I think Michael Gambon needs to read the books to understand Dumbledore. Because he seemed like he was screaming A LOT in GoF movie

Yeah I was Richard Harris back... he... he was perfect...
Anyone think Jo killed off Dumbledore because Richard Harris died (and he was perfect for the role) ?

Uh, no I don't think so. She's had the story planned out, she wouldn't change it because of the movies.

Wouldn't it be kinda funny if she did though? Or like its an added bonus, because I honestly think that Michael Gambon screams his lines too much... he had better shape up for OotP because he and Harry have to have a deep relationship in that one

When I read the book, I've imagined him doing the scenes,not Michael Gambon.It's a pity he's dead, he would've been great.

^I think you mean for Dumbledore.
I wish. He was considered, but Ian McKellen said he'd like to have another role at some time later in the series. I can see why he wouldn't want it, it's way too close to the role of Gandalf. Hopefully Dumbledore's brother will show up in Book 7!

Nicholas Flamel? Maybe he'll show up or something.. unlikely but you never know..
I think that I might have liked Michael Gambon better if I hadn't seen two movies already with Richard Harris as Dumbledore..

True, but I might be a little more sympathetic cause I would know what I was missing because I wouldn't have seen Richard Harris.. but seeing his Dumbledore and Gambons.. I'd pick Harris anyday!
