Whoops! It looks like the topic of conversation has swayed off to the main point of the club. Please steer it back!

Sorry Kitoky.
So, Nazgul, why don't we begin painting fell beasts and towers again or are we all past that? We need a new hobby me thinks.

*enters the realm of pure Evil*
Fear not, Eä is here!
How are things going in Mordor?
World domination close?
Mount Doom turned into a recretional water park?
The Black Gate still painted pink?
How about the evil cacti rule?
*spray paints "Eä was here" on Minas Morgul and walks out in search of her fell beast*

I know why you are posting and that Arwen and the mod team have agreed on enforcing the rules stricter than before, which on this board especially goes for on-topic posts. However, the Nazgûl club was never created to talk specifically about... the Tolkien Nazgûl. From the very beginning it was a place for random "evilness" only partly related to Middle-earth and with the main purpose of "taking over the world", and thus the discussions have always been circling around this topic more or less. In fact the thread has never been on-topic, which I agree could be a problem due to the recent reformation on the forum, but this is what happens when trying to fit old furniture into a new house.
Now this shouldn't be a regarded as criticism at all. I'm very satisfied with the mod team and acknowledge the valuable job they perform here to maintain a friendly community. I welcome the Tolkien revival and the "new" rules respectively and hope they will revive the spirit of the forum and keep sanity and focus where it belongs and randomness in its place.
Also I have to admit, I haven't been able to be around much over the past.. er.. month or so. Meaning I'm not all updated on recent topics in this thread.

And yes you have been gone... it`s like you come and go

Noooo Curunir, not another name change... as my head wasn't preoccupied enough with school, work, exam and being sick... thanks for the nice welcome back basket *shifty eyes*
Anyway, if the club is being reminded repeatedly by the mods, perhaps we need a discussion on the club purpose, like what unites us, what we want to talk about in this enclosed society.
First suggestion for the agenda: World Domination!

Very good, rather funny.
I think most people get told of by people when they have a name change. I don't mind, if I did I'd be a hypocrite. Everyone needs a change at some point.

Finally, someone has informed of the purpose of this club in a civilized manner. We love Ea. We really do.
All right, so the Nazgul club is not exactly a club for speaking only about the Nazguls in Tolkien's world --- but the name is still misleading. And people might get a wee bit confused about what it's really about. Though it does relate to World Domination, that's not clear enough. Either add something to the topic name so that it is clear or... well, I guess you only have one choice since you guys would never opt for anything else.
And since this club is not focused on the LotR Nazguls, is it safe to say that I can remove the club from under "Lord of the Rings" and set it under "Miscellaneous" then?

Sharkû = former Curunir
Sharkû is Saruman`s nickname in orcish

Sorry Curunir.. it just seems you change your name everytime I get back here... makes me all confused when you start talking to me under a new name... though thanks for not changing banner and avatar!
No problem, Kitoky *feels loved* The issue about world domination is actually top secret insider knowledge I only shared with you because of this ..er.. rather demanding and sensitive situation, so putting that under the topic... *twitchtwitch* I believe this calls for a gathering, Nazgûl council or simple majority vote by the self-appointed dictator for life. Please give us some time to decide, as we are the most democratic club lead by a dictator.. also can we put the "Where should the club belong in the club directory" on the agenda before you make any changes? I think we will need a healthy debate on whether riding fell beasts, dressing in black and being undead-neither-living-nor-dead would or would not qualify us to be classified under the LotR clubs.
Thank you for understanding Kitoky - still proud member of the Nazgûl club I assume...?
*pulls out worn and torn cardboard box to stand on*
Fellow Nazgûl from distant lands, friends of old, you have been summoned here to answer the [s]threat[/s] challenge from the Mod team. Apparently we need to do something about our current situation and we have two things on the agenda:
1) What is the club about?
2. Er... are we Tolkien enough to sort under LotR clubs?
But fear not, we made it to page fivehundred-fourty-something already, we are an AU institution as we have been here since the beginning, and actually talking about the club's purpose at some time seems fitting.
Now please share your opinions!
*crashes through the cardbox as it finally gives in to her weight*
