nice banner, Frosty!
didn't like Beckett that much... come on... he got poned by a girl in a gown (albeit that girl in a gown being Elizabeth Swann) bring on Barbossa, he was one bad villain. I didn't consider the Phantom as much a villain as an antihero.

Actually, everything worked out just fine for Beckett. I think he was majorly overshadowed by the sheer awesomeness of Jones' appearance in DMC, but in AWE everyone's going to see who the true villain is. Barbossa is evil, but mostly just an opportunist who will stop at nothing to get what he desires (that's not to say I don't love 'im, though...he will always be my favorite). Jones is evil, but his is more of a "The world hates me, so I hate the world" mentality spawned from heartbreak. Beckett, however, is just flat-out an evil mastermind. He calls the shots, and he knows it. Even when Liz has a pistol leveled at him, Beckett's ultimately in control of the situation. It's not so evident right now how powerful he is, but trust me. Beckett is the Sixth Great Dark Lord.

Jason Issac was so awesome as Lucius Malfoy. He played him so well...I sincerely hope we get to see more of him in the Order of the Phoenix.

Haven't seen DMC yet so I can't judge Beckett's villainy. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but, British actors tend to make very good villains.

Well, he's Scottish (though Bill Nighy himself is English), but aye. Villains are just better with awesome accents.

You mean Christopher Lee for example?
