Luckily for u, my bro's friend has the same problem so I can tell u what NOT to do. Don't just decide that the two of u shud 'take a break'...which he did,...and they weren't even together. I'd say, u shud just talk to her. See what she says. I mean, if u guys are good for each other, then it wud be a shame to not go for it. If you guys decide maybe ur better of as just friends, then that's great too...becuz u still have a super hot friend *winks*. I wudn't be afriad that she'd reject u, cuz technically ur not asking her out. Ur discussing it. And i read sumthing once: Once u learn that u can't die of embarrassment, life gets a lot easier. So if ur afraid, don't worry about it. We are only given one life to live, so have fun! Do crazy stuff!

you've got a complex situation there, Frostlord. I don't have a love life at all. so I wouldn't even ask myself for advice... but I'll do my best

if you're both friends, she should understand if you sit her down and have a nice discussion with her. show her that you're sensitive and caring and prepared to take a rejection. tell her the truth. say that although you're falling in love with her, you still want to be friends even if the relationship doesn't work out. show her that you care about her feelings.

it should work. if you've been friends and she's noticed that you're attracted to her, she should at least consider before flat out rejecting you.

I know as a "gentlewoman" [:P] I would prefer it in a dating relationship for the guy to make the first move and ask. Then that would show that he cares enough to be vulnerable and ask. So yeah, show her that you do care. If she responds well, then take it a step further. Just use your best judgement, which is better than ours since we don't really know what's going on as much as you do.
