yes I know, I absolutely loved the crocodile hunter. I watched him every chance I got. we have a DVD of his shows and his movie (though it wasn't all that good. but it did have David Wenham in it.) I did always want to meet him. he seemed so friendly and nice, the kind of guy you want to know. I will join

I just couldn't believe when I heard what happened to him! I, like Estel, watched him all the time! I used to love that guy. But I grew up and stopped watching him, but now that he's gone, I want to watch him all the time again. Oh, I also want to join.

awh, I haven't seen this thread. I remember when I used to watch Steve all the time on Animal Planet (and when he did that ridiculously goofy movie with the Wiggles...). he was so fearless. I miss him!

Every September 4th I wear my Australia Zoo shirt and I pull out a Croc Hunter dvd and watch an episode of the show, its my way of remembering him and honoring him every year. He's still my hero.

I think I found my DVD on either Borders or Barnes and Noble's website. They're probably on Amazon's website as well.

I still want to be like him, my dream is to work in a zoo and be involved with conservation research. I'm not much of a crier, but one thing that can always make me cry is thinking about Steve. He was just so real on his show, he made you feel like you truly knew him, that you were a friend or part of his family. And his enthusiasm about wildlife, he just pulled you in and shared it with you, it was contagious and good, fun. He was absolutely wonderful at what he did....oh heck, I'm startin to cry...again...
