Why would I need the <> buttons? (Yes, I have them.)

@Arianna
You don't need the "e"-button
You just have to press Alt+0235
And yes, "ë" isn't used so often, but for the right pronunciation in english you need it. For example "lúmë" is pronounced luume (with german letters) and not luum, like you would do in English.
@Nauriel
I didn't meant the < and > buttons, I meant the button with ` and ´

Hmmm....seems like my comp is too stupid for the dots... grrrr
oh, and, by the way, I found the sentence in my english copy of LOTR, not the german. (haven't read the german for several years, about 3 or so). But yes, if you're english it's much more difficult to see how the word's pronounced...Ynd yet...still no dots

No, I don't have those buttons on the keyboard. I wish i did, because that would be cool. Do the german keyboards have those? MAybe I could get one. That would be cool. Ohhhh! My dad is going to Germany for a buisness trip. Maybe I could get him to buy me one!

Can I join? I taught myself Quenya from a downloadable course (the one on Ardalambion.com ), and eventually I'll return to attempting Sindarin (I never finished the course I was reading on that language).
Are there any others on this thread who consider Quenya their forte? I've written some poems in it, though I'm not entirely fluent . With Sindarin, though, all the mutations confuse me.

I'd give up on home work if I could, but I can't. But it is the weekend, so I had some time to learn elvish. Right now I am learning about word recunstruction, and I'm kinda confused. It's slow going.
