Come one, come all to the club that revels in the weird, the wacky, the downright creepy and the utter wonderfull-ness, that is the combination of director Tim Burton and actor Johnny Depp! Huzzah!
In this club we shall discuss all the films that the deliciously-talented duo have made together. These films be:
Edward Scissorhands (1990) Ed Wood (1994) Sleepy Hollow (1999) Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) Corpse Bride (2005) Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street (2007)
Remember: being [s]slightly[/s] wacky and using lots of these little guys is a must.
So find yourself a creaky chair, grab some stale popcorn, brush the cobwebs from your hair, put on your wacky hat and discuss all things.... *low voice* .... Burton and Depp!! ..... *mad cackle* ...

P.S If you don't want to be called a "wacky" ... tough... ... my club so there...

lol. this sounds like a neat-o idea! (and I love SH and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory... and Edward Scissorhands was a fairly good story and Corpse Bride looks like fun... and Sweeney Todd looks like it could be another interesting/creepy one too so that's 5 out of 6 (and I'll admit I've never heard of Ed Wood )) So do you mind if I join, mate?
and by the way I don't mind being called "wacky".... it's normal.

Again Gimli... I'm disappointed... you disappoint me... again I didn't get a special invitation? Why why why? Don't you love me anymore? Am I even loved by anyone? Do you know why I am... hmm.... do you want to associate with me, even if you know who I am... I'm afraid I'm not wacky enough for this club.. I'm downrght insane... *cough*
Aww look at zeh Aramel, she's got a pretty Nightmare banner set!!!
I love how we Tim Burton, Johnny Depp (and Alan Rickman) fans have so many oasises (what's oasis in plural?) around the forum.. cosy spots to hang out... you never walk far before you stumble upon another of those safe little nests!!
*puts up hammock*

Me! Me! Oh, me! Pick me! *inspired by Eä's donkey banner*
I simply have to join this club. The combination Burton/Depp is genius! I shall admit I've only seen Edward Scissorhand and the Corpse Bride (and Nightmare before Christmas, of course) and possibly also parts of Sleepy Hollow (not sure about that - what's it about?), but I still think they're geniuses.
And since we all know I'm the wackiest wacky ever to be wackied (is that even a word?), I'd be very grateful if you put me up in the member list

What is this? The founder is shamelessly abandoning her club, leaving all the poor wackos alone without guidance... pity.
*points to movie list*
Actually, I thought they had made more films together... I can claim to have seen three of them.

*GASPETH*
Ms. JF, the founding wacko of this amazingly genius club has abandoned us so soon?!
WHAT?!
Anyway, if she ever returns, I'd like to join!!
I LOVE it when these two work together! They are just SOOOO brilliant. Like....they were made for each other or something. XD
Of the films listed, I've seen 4 of them (Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow, Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, & Corpse Bride). Soon to be 5. I have seen parts of Ed Wood...just not the whole thing. I'm not sure why I've never finished it.
Although one of my FAVOURITE movies by Tim Burton doesn't star Johnny Depp, Aramel already mentioned it, and that's "Beetle Juice"! Mwa ha ha ha ha ha ha! As a wee little lass, I WORSHIPPED that movie! XD I've no idea why, but it's just SOOOOOOOO brilliant! AND I love Nightmare Before Christmas! I have the soundtrack! *SQUEEEE*

hey, thanks for the welcome, JF! (no problem-o! Me understand )
I watched Corpse Bride tonight! it was a pretty good movie... the normal, overly dark Tim Burton style. Although I was disappointed Victor and Emily didn't get together in the end. they were perfect.... well, besides one was living and one was dead... oh well

I warn you, I'm not wacky or crazy, but I like Tim Burton's films and think Johnny Depp is a wonderful actor. I've only seen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory from the list, though I've seen parts of Edwards Scissorhands. I've seen other Tim Burton films though (Nightmare Before Christmas) and, of course, we've all seen Johnny Depp act in other movies, I think. *cough*potc*cough*
So...can I hang out with you wackies?

hi, RinielAranel! I'm sure JF will let you hang out with us!

It's actually a good film in the sense that you like both Victoria and Emily (or I think so anyway). It could easily have been you hated one or the other. I was quite satisfied with the way it ended myself, as everyone was happy.
lol
you have a point... and I wasn't saying I disliked Victoria. Actually I really did like her and I thought she and Victor were very lovely together... it's just there was something about Victor and Emily that I really liked. (and right 'til the end I wasn't really sure who he'd pick) Anyway, I WAS happy Emily at least got to get even with that nasty Lord-ugly-face! (sorry, any help with what his name really was? ) and wasn't Victor cute for an animated character? Sorry, again... that's just my weirdness kicking in there..... ignore me.

*gasp* Charlie is in the list too? *didn't see it the other day* of course I've seen Charlie
@PD: Victor is a very cute animated character so clumsy and somehow very johnny depp-ish...
