When she gets to the slave city (can't remember the name, oops xD), that was just the best. Yeah, one of my favorite moments, made better by the fact that it wasn't promptly ruined by something going horribly wrong in the same chapter or the next one which is what's happened for every other cool moment.

It was Meereen ^^ I guess when you will be reading A Dance With Dragons, it won't be that much of epic scenes ^^

I now decided to read a little ASoIaF from the beginning. Nice to read GOOD Jon chapters :D And comparing them to the series. Jon in the series is just...wrong ^^

I can't wait to finish the series so I can start it again. I think I probably missed a lot of important things the first time around, and I'd say these books are definitely worth a re-read.

Oh, yeah! When I have read the books second time, I was finding out a lot of things I missed at first ;)

There's always so many names and little by-lines that don't seem important and I have the hardest time remembering them. Which, okay, it doesn't always matter, but I'm sure a lot of it does, so I'd like to go back. :P

Greyjoys are most awesome ;) I love Asha, she is a fine girl ^^ What a pity they changed her name.

Agreed. I love her name, but I understand they needed to so that none book lovers could remember the difference between she and Osha.

And physically killing because jaysus is that book heavy.

...I've, uh, only read one chapter. And it was the prologue so it only half counts. Makin' some grand progress. :teehee:

^Yessssss! And, unpopular opinion time, this is the only book where Dany has not driven me up the wall.

Puff, Dany is always great, no matter what she is doing and in which book

Haha. It's cool. I know that Dany is a fan favorite, but she and Jon Snow are probably my least favorite characters.

Well, my mother also dislikes Dany and many people do it, so it's fair ;) But I loved her even at the very beginning of the books, so I can't imagine someone can not like her

Jon Snow was only good in first book, in later books he is poo.
