Ara: no worries, I'm sure you're probably better at it than I will be, and it's nice to know we have someone who's already into it! I'll start cooking up a story line and might post something over in the RP section over the weekend once I'm on break-- so keep a lookout, Merlin fans. (said in impeccable Bradley James style) Feel free to PM me with any ideas!

I suppose that would be fine, as long as no one else has a strong preference. I'd probably play Morgana, since she's one of my favorite characters. (Edit- I am fascinated by the young/developing Morgana. Later on, I think that the writers over-simplified her when they made her a "baddie"... aka, they made her less interesting, at least for me.) Also, sorry that it's taking me so long to get something down "on paper," so to speak. I've been very busy for the past few days and just settled down. It will be up soon, really!

I could be Guinevere, unless you guys wanted me to be my original character Annora, which could be awesome. I've also been told I make a good Gwaine...

I love Merlin, I can re-watch the whole seasons if it must for the RP.

Yes, it is not that difficult to watch a lot of Merlin episodes in one sitting... in fact, I watched the whole series in a little over a month. You know a show is good when...

Sure, Eruant! I'll add you to the members list shortly. It's always great to meet fellow Merlin fans - "for the love of Camelot" and all that. Do you have a favorite character yet?

Hmm, I kind of like Morgana right now because she I know turns bad later, and it's interesting to watch her interact with everyone else before that.

Morgana's one of my favorite characters as well! I agree, I like the nicer side of Morgana we see in the earlier seasons of Merlin, but I also like that the writers give us little hints of tension between Morgana and Uther from the very first episode. I like that kind of subtle foreshadowing more than the "this person WILL be evil and there's nothing you can do about it!" statements we get from the Dragon sometimes.

Dark Morgana is a great villain, true, but considering her identity before she became a baddie, I think they over-simplified her somewhat.

Same here, Alatáriël. I feel like everyone gets more serious in the later seasons. That's only to be expected on some level, but I missed the joking around that happened between all the characters. I also loved Morgana's friendship with Gwen... but that was back in the early days before she became power-hungry and suspicious. There's lots more of that in Season 5, but it gets into spoilery territory if you haven't gotten that far yet, Alatáriël.

I think Merlin needed to stay longer and get deeper.
