She is pretty good at fighting! Like Tauriel (and me :teehee:  )
Although, in a fight with orcs, I would either run and hide behind someone, or fight so hard that I would die...that's just my luck :p
Question...in RotK, do Eowyn and Faramir get married, or just engaged?

I thought they had just got engaged in the book, but I'm pretty sure they get married afterwards. I also recall that they get at least one son with a very unusual name, so that makes me even more sure they got married ;-)

I'm pretty sure that their son was named "Elboron" and their grandson was named "Barahir"
Thanks for defining the term "trothplighted"!!!! There are some words in LotR that I don't understand at all :p
Does anyone think that the Eowyn/Aragorn thing was taken too far? I know multiple people who think so.

Not too far.. but VERY close to it. Eowyn is supposed to had a crush on him but Aragorn is NOT supposed to answer to that.. Well.. he doesn't.. but still.

You mean in the movie? I don't really feel like they've taken it too far, I always enjoy the moments between Eowyn and Aragorn. As I see it, there's no moment where Aragorn even suggests that he's choosing Eowyn in any way, it's always clear that his heart belongs to Arwen.

The scenes between Eowyn and Aragorn do make her character more tragic: first she grows up in this tough household, surrounded by men, even before her uncle falls under Saruman's spell. And when that problem is finally solved, and she finally finds someone attractive to look up to, he's already taken by someone she can't even begin to compete with.. That makes the love between her and Faramir even more special

Myself, i think that its on the brink of being taken too far, but not quite (im talking about a *certain* EE scene :p)
The music for "Eowyn's dream" is very pretty, however i disliked the scene itself, possibly because it took quotes from the Steward and the King chapter of LotR, where she was talkng to Faramir, not Aragorn.
But I can see both ways, and have had multiple debates with those who think it was taken too far :p
I really really wish Eowyn and Faramir had more screen time together, i would have liked to see more of their growing romance in Minas Tirith, like in the book, but then, RotK is soooo long already :)

I dont think it was really taken too far, in the movies. Aragorn never hid his love for Arwen (though he thought she had left Middle Earth), I dont think he intentionally did anything to lead her on, other than be kind to her, and respect her. Although I admit, all Aragorn would have to do to lead me on is look in my general direction! I liked the scenes they had together, they all were packed with various emotional undertones.

I agree legolin, I wish there were more Eowyn/Faramir scenes....Faramir is adorable

They could have been put that scene to the extended edition. Or is it already there? (I haven't seen them :'-( )

They didn't put enough of those scenes in the EE :( I was sooo upset!
@ Tinker Bell I agree, Faramir is really cute! Though he looks better without the Gondorian helmet, and he acts better in RotK :p
