Hahaha!!! Beach running is not something I like to repeat either! Hills are super fun, but they do affect your time in a negative way

Yeah, but they're very good to give you a runner's vibe (which is the feeling of feeling like almost dying, but still being able to continue running ). Anyway, what's your favorite brand for running shoes? I've ran my way through two pairs of Asics, and am currently running in a third pair. They were all from the same line though, I've just upgraded in versions over time.

I use Nike and Asics depending on what is cheaper, lol!! What is your favorite running song? I LOVE Reckless by Jeremy Camp and Busted heart by For King and Country.

Oh that's a tough one! I have a few favorites: I like to listen to the soundtrack of the musical "Chess", or songs by Abba. And when I don't feel like listening to music I like to listen to the Harry Potter audiobooks, read by Stephen Fry. Oh and the audioplay of "Neverwhere" by Neil Gaiman! But that was only 6 hours of audio, and I finished those already

Wow, I can't believe we're still the only two members in this club, but that we still managed to fill almost two pages with a discussion just between the two of us! But back to topic I always want to listen to something while running, but it doesn't have to be music. Audiobooks or audioplays are also fine, as long as they are not boring. How do you feel about running together with someone? Are you more of a group or solo runner?

I usually run by myself, and very rarely I run together with my boyfriend. I used to run with one of my friends, but although we'd start off running on a very nice pace we'd always end up chatting in the end. So that wasn't really improving my pace So I usually run alone. I also like not having to talk to anyone while running, it makes running even more relaxing because I don't have to worry about keeping up with someone or not leaving someone behind. It's just me and my own pace that matter. Today I had the most perfect run! I love running during autumn, because the temperature is perfect and the light is so beautiful. I usually run through neighbourhoods with a lot of parks and bits of forest, so there are plenty of fallen leaves to run through. There's just one downside to running in autumn though: lots of rain

I had a great run today also! I ran 12 miles (half-marathon prep!) in great weather. Fall weather is the best!!! Do you know of any stretches for bad knees? I need some new stretches badly!

Wow, you're on 12 miles already! When exactly is your half marathon? Sounds like you'll be able to run it perfectly Nope, I'm afraid I don't know any good or new stretches I'm always a bit slacking in stretching myself, usually I just stretch my calves and my upper legs and that's about it. I know I should do more, especially with the colder weather coming in, but so far I've never had any real trouble after stretching just a little...

Hahaha I don't like to stretch, but I have to cuz I have a bad knee (thank you ballet!) My half- marathon is on the 19th, I hope I can get a good time. my brothers keep teasing me and telling me to do the whole marathon. I suppose I could do it, but I don't want to. Do you have any upcoming races?

Nope, no upcoming races for me right now! I'll just continue running as a side activity, and hopefully the roads won't get too slippery during winter!
And how was your half marathon? Did you run the entire course?

My half marathon was great, I ran the entire way My time was 1 hr and 20 minutes, not to bad! I was hoping for a little faster, but my knee was bothering so... I am so annoyed though, my coach says I shouldn't run more than 3 miles now because of my knee!!! And I am trying to get a faster 5k time too I hate easy runs!

Whoa, your time was 1 hour and 20 minutes?! That's amazing! I wish I was able to run a half marathon in that time! Too bad about your knee though, how long will you need to run shorter distances? Today I went out for a run right after it had stopped raining, and I could smell autumn everywhere The sky was slowly turning blue again, the grass was still slippery and wet (so nice and cool on my legs) and everything looked so fresh. Combine that with a nice strong wind, and you've got my perfect running weather!

My coach finally let me run 6.5 miles last night, and I need to work up to long distances again, but it still feels good. (I'm sorry I haven't posted in forever!) Do you run in winter? I run at an indoor track sometimes, and if it isn't icy, I run outside.

Good to hear that you're slowly buidling up your distances again I run in winter, but not when it's icy or slippery outside. I don't have the option of going to an indoor track, so I'll just put on multiple warm layers and gloves to survive the cold
